Annoying because nothing made sense.

I had a bad feeling halfway through the movie that this was going to have an ending that didn't make any sense but I kept watching anyway. It turns out I was right.

Most of the movie was a jumble of strange, eerie scenes. I kept watching because the acting was excellent and the director did a good job of creating a strong sense of unease. The family scenes around the table were especially disturbing because they seemed to have no affection for each other and one could feel something sinister was going on.

I usually like offbeat, strange movies, but this one just ended up being annoying because the ending was confusing and unsatisfying.

I don't recommend it.

Come on...

Are you a fan of watching random sequences each about 2 minutes in length? Do you like watching movies which seem like they might be one long dream which is someone else's and makes no sense to you? Then this is must see cinema for you. I think the guy that made this little gem was trying to conjure up a modern day version of the Shining, if I had to try and explain it to someone but whatever the case, it's a huge fail. There is no way you watch this and say wow I'm glad I caught that one. It's not horror and it's so jumbled there is no real feel of suspense or it being classified as a thriller. Go on and watch it. You'll realize this warning to stay away was legit.

What just happened?

To describe this movie in two words: Convoluted Mess! Or maybe I could go with Existentialst Nihilism mess. Brought me back to when I was getting my psychology doctorate, more than half a century ago. (In a bad way.) Lucky Tubi is free. Lets just say I kept having to stop, go back a few scenes and forward again trying to figure out what was going on. Poor kid or was it kids? Can't tell. I was in the mood to watch a horror movie which is why I kept wasting my time. I spent much of my time asking myself, wasn't so and so dead or was I losing my mind or was I just confused. Needless to say I am not watching this "movie" again.

Don't bother

Drawn out, confusing and I think maybe an attempt at 'artiness'?

The background music was discordant and annoying and as another has commented, the plot is so jumbled and piecemeal that there is no chance of suspense building. Just when you think something is going to happen in a sequence that makes sense it quickly switches to a totally irrelevant scene. It was as if the entire movie was a mass of unrelated scenes just cobbled together. Lasted about halfway in and then gave up. None of the characters appealed. I enjoy a movie that makes you think but unfortunately this one just wasted viewing time.

Love the cinematography

Great film. I love the locations they used, the color is incredible and so is the camera work. Reminds me of a David Lynch film. The music is stunning as well! I love the film, it keeps you guessing and also leaves a lot up to personal interpretation. The lead actress does an amazing job. Looks like this is the director's first film and it's unbelievable as a very first film. It definitely gives the vibe of a more experienced crew. Considering only two people made the film and director did pretty much everything (except the sound design and music). This makes me look forward to see what he does next.
