Incredible production with an amazing director and team working to create this legendary piece. Recommend to watch as soon as possible. Keeps you glued to your seat as it takes you on an incredible emotional rollercoaster.
Uplifting movie with great funny scenes played out by the wonderful casts!! Great references which I will not go into detail so once you watch it you can enjoy them as much as I did. No spoilers in this review.
As soon as Tales of Babylon is in your nearest cinema it is a must watch!!! Groucho Arts is the production company so it is without a doubt that you will enjoy it as well.

Such an excellent script. The dialogue really stands out to me, it's so quick and witty. Maybe it's just me but I love those films that make supposedly serious things so funny. The professional was a personal favourite. Taking the mick out him the whole way through was my highlight. And him singing Driver's Licence was SOOOOO funny.
The actors overall were all super talented, the ensemble works really well together and they all have great chemistry, especially the little kid and X.
I must also say that I adored the love story between X and Y. It's not super on the nose but it's definitely there. Aaron Cobham and Ray Calleja definitely have great chemistry and they build the relationship between X and Y in a very lovely way.

Loved, loved, loved this film. It's such a great example of real indie filmmaking and it's so meritorious for a such a young director to do something so great. It shows a lot of promise for sure. I'll be looking out for his future films. I liked the cinematography also, some very well crafted shots by the DOP.
I really liked all the actors as well, especially Maria Crittell as Mother Nature and Ray Calleja as X, their chemistry was excellent.
The kid was excellent too. I haven't seen a child performer who was so good in a long time.
It drags on slightly at the midpoint but the ending really brings it home, Sergio Leone style.

Didn't think this movie would be that good considering some of the ratings here on IMDB, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The plot builds up slowly and you get to know some odd and interesting characters. It's not a lot of non-stop shooting and car chases like in American movies but more of slow-action I get the feeling that the director has looked at Pulp Fiction, The Liability and similar films and then arrived at this little gem.
Crowd funded, relatively unknown actors and a well-written plot impresses, so I can only recommend this film.
Will keep an eye on this director and look forward to the next film project!

I went into this one with no expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. It is by no means a perfect film but it's much better than I expected. The writing is very good and the pacing is really quick, it doesn't feel like a 2 hour film at all.
I've just read on IMDb that the director was only 22 when he made this one and I feel like that makes it all the more impressive. I definitely don't expect this level of directing from a 22 year old. Again, it's by no means perfect but it shows a lot of promise. The scene in which mother nature walks into the drug lair is so impressive. Basically anything that Mother Nature was in really grabbed my attention. She was great but the camera really service her well. Some beautiful shots here and there.
