I don't get it I pay Disney a service to provide entertainment in English. Why am I getting a Spanish only program? I can't watch this all I can do is read it, I do not understand the logic. Every program that an English is available in Spanish why is it that a program in Spanish is not available in English? If this is something they are going to continue to do a lot of people will drop Disney. When I watch a movie, I want to be able to get immersed in it and having to read subtitles at the same time, I'm not immersed in it at all it makes it very difficult to watch.
This just makes absolutely no sense.

This back story for Mila, is interesting even for adults. Still a story where teen don't tryst adults or adults are represented as people who don't listen, like Mila's disconnected mother. That said the universes are interesting, the operators are scary and the bad guy/gal are foreboding. I haven't watched all the episodes, yet, so no spoilers. I can't say if today's teens would enjoy this film, but it's a great opportunity to introduce young people to foreign films that aren't in their native language and get them to practice reading subtitles. I prefer this to dubbing, Dubbing gets in the way of viewing actors performances in my opinion. I have watched many films in Spanish, Mandarin and French, but only a few in Portuguese. It was fun.
I do maintain that the adults in teen movies are poorly written, lacking depth and sensitivity. Given how poorly Mila's mother treated her, why is she even looking for her? What kind of back story doesn't explain this incongruous? Maybe they will do an episode to cover it. I hope the future episodes treat adults with more respect and realism. As these Multiverses are dangerous and the operators destroy them, it's a serious topic that I believe teenagerscwould appreciate. Treating it lightly seems very unlikely.

Disappointed. Set down with my 9-year-old granddaughter, because it looks good. Then like the previous reviewer, I had to mess around for the next 30 minutes trying to find the English translation. I kept reading for the 9-year-old who could not keep up with reading the subtitles. Finally, gave up. Found this post that informed me that there is no English translation. Too bad! The one star is for Disney not the show. Ok, just told my review needs to be at least 600 words. That's too bad, I have nothing else to say about a show that exhausted my granddaughter and I and wasted about 30 minutes of our quality Friday night fun.
Mila, a 15 year old schoolgirl, lives with her mother who spends most time in her laboratory. In Milas birthday her Mum wants to reveal a really special present to her, but on her way to pick Mila up from school she gets an unwelcomed visit from "the operators" and vanishes. The series accompanies Mila and her friends on the search for her mother.
For anyone expecting Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) or more references to the MCU blockbusters - sorry to disappoint. But it's a good story about friendship, family and growing up for a (still) young audience.
Currently it is only in portuguese/spanisch available, but with english subtitles (and other languages as well).

I did only watch 10 seconds of it and spend 1h afterwards trying to change the language only to find that there are no other language options. I don't get it. Whats the point of not producing other translations? Not even 3% of the worlds population understands this, the rest has to read subtitles. Why bother to make a series if the viewer has to read most of the time an misses all the acting an visuals? It's like going to the theater and some folks are running around the stage with card boards you have to read. Is the acting that bad that you have to distract uns with subtitles? If I wanted to read the conversations I would have read a book. Not even worth one star but one can't give less...
