This movie was going well and i liked it until the climax fight..It was kinda realistic movie at first then it suddenly turned to a mass movie when getting close to the climax..some twists were foreseeable but its okay when compared to the heat and seat edge thrill it gave...the first 30 mins are worst and theres nothing but lame jokes and unwanted scenes ..the main actors performed the worst in this movie..After indrajiths intro it takes a turn..The climax fight was dumb af..not at all needed, they could've unraveled the twist..twist was good enough but anna ben was showing off her boyfriends non praiseworthy sacrifice and skills...she was trying to give him a mass buildup which was cringy..i usually dont like mass movies and mass scenes as they are dumb .. They could've polished all those parts..overall a good watch..i would've given 8 if that climax fight was avoided.
The movie starts off well by introducing all the characters and the 1st half hour of the movie is focussed mainly on the relationship between Georgy (Roshan) and Riya (Anna). So, after the 1st half an hour we get to the main plot and it might seem clichè but it will not disappoint you if you watch it till the end. The twists we re well executed. To me, there were no negatives to this film apart from a small, tiny buildup-like scene in the climax.
Night drive is a decent movie to watch on an OTT platform. Clearly Roshan has been miscast for this role. I don't think he can do the mass masala roles cos his acting is too realitic and toned down. For instance, the final transformation scenes in the movie looks very forced. Anna Ben is just there and has nothing much to do. Indrajith brings the much needed drama and thrill to the movie, but takes a backseat in the movie in terms of character development and screen time. The overall plot of the movie is also quite weak and nonsensical, but most of the logic through the movie made sense. Decent thriller, but the young actors should choose roles in stories that suit them. This didn't work for Roshan and Anna.
Watchable thriller with no nonsense character or scenes.
All character have done their job well, even the story, BGM Matches and the entire movie has come as nice watchable thriller.

Night Drive only picks up momentum once CI Benny Moopen (Indrajith Sukumaran) enters the plot with some compelling twists to follow. Only a few of them land well, but Vysakh's attempt at a light thriller is still one of his better works, keeping that needless climax fight sequence aside. Yes, it is a somewhat toned-down version of thrillers flaunting the same premise, but it's coherent for the most part. The making is better suited to the OTT audiences than theatres, with some of the early portions not standing out.
The leads' characterization is also one of the weaker elements, with Roshan, Anna, and Indrajith all suffering from it. Also, I wouldn't say I liked how the script made the journo character a mere spectator towards the end when she could've done so much more. The music and background score were subpar. Night Drive lacks that much-needed wow factor, placing it in the category of throwaway thrillers.
