So weird that it was entertaining

Look if you don't take it too seriously it was actually quite entertaining and hilarious. Sometimes I felt uncomfortable watching and I wonder why you'd choose to go on the show, but I actually did learn some things!

Strange show but hopefully it helped the couples that went on it as much as it made me cringe and laugh.

Eh?

Without making an elaborate analyzis of the program, at least it's better than The Goop Lab...?

To me, at least, I didn't feel like this was just trying to sell me something or pressure me into buying Goop products, so there's that at least...? Bottom line, although it gets weird at times, it feels a bit harmless in some way or another.

Questionable Integrity

I have participated in the type of encounters in this show. They can be very healing, but they are sacred. The professionals that conducted the encounter workshops I attended were very clear with their boundaries and kept professional distance. Sex, Love and Goop suggests from the beginning that being a friend with your intimacy coach will get you what you want in the bedroom or get you on a Netflix show. This show illustrates the epitome of blurring professional boundaries and left me with a yucky feeling; it felt exploitive. Since when can we as regular people in society become friends with our therapists and coaches? This show just represents another way that celebrities can get away with things normal people can't. I would encourage anyone looking at this show to research the integrity of a professional client relationship and what the code of ethics are in the respective professions. These code of ethics are what keeps the client safe and sacred when exploring something as sacred as sex and intimacy.

Great show!

Very informative and offers great new ideas to try with your partner to enhance intimacy. I love that a lot of these topics are being explored publicly.

Vomit

Isn't anything personal and private anymore? Hollywood has developed this idea that we all need to live our lives on camera. Decent people don't share the intimate details of their lives with the world then cry they have no privacy.

Watch it! You may learn something new!

Considering how many people suck in the bedroom (not in a good way), this is a must watch!

Watch it if you want to learn and grow, there's so much good information and practices and it's done beautifully and tastefully.

Sex is much more than just about intercourses and if you don't grow snd evolve in this area you're missing out.

I know the women will mostly watch it but men really need to watch this.

Why so much hate?

In the beginning I was little sceptic but at the end of the show I was really happy I watched it.

It's interesting and you will definitely learn something new, so I really dont understand all the negative ratings.

Garbage

Total and utter garbage they don't understand the meaning of privacy of intimacy between two people being a private affair garbage. Hollywood thinks that everybody needs to be completely out in the open with everything that nothing should be secret or private and that goes for everything in this whole thing absolute garbage.

Worth Watching!

I don't understand why so many people gave this a 1. I think it's fantastic to have open dialogue about intimacy and to not make it taboo.

I only reserve my '10' ratings for oscar worthy shows or movies so that's why I gave it a 9.

Not sure why so many people think this thing should be private - it's a show about sex, and how to connect better with your partner thru physical intimacy, and helped with trained therapists.

Mixed feelings: weird, nice, too much, informative, stop that

Well, my feelings toward this show are many and they are contradictory. I found some episodes to be actually nice, fun & informative and I actually enjoyed it... However, other episodes where quiet weird or too much and left me saying I didn't need to watch that.

As overall, I recommend watching it as this show, despite getting weird at times, actually did give me new insights about myself and my previous relationships which allowed me to put them into a new frame.

Good for a laugh

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. People have really been dumbed down lol. I won't be watching anymore shows coming from goop. SMH. Netflix must be desperate at this point.

Nah

People that say that they're ok with this are just trying to prove how PC they are. This is an all around failure, regardless. Hard pass.

No thanks No thanks No thanks.

Informative, but biased

This show is great for learning how to pleasure a female, but what about the men? This show is too female-centric and would be better if they went in-depth about the male anatomy. We have feelings that are often overlooked or dismissed by women as being piggish or not that important. I learned a lot about pleasuring women on this show, but my wife has learned nothing about how to pleasure me.

Who needs counselling!?

What an interesting and informative series. We learned more about reconnecting watching this than the 1000's spent in counselling. I'd say the negative reviews are from therapist scared of losing their source of income..

Absolutely necessary

Everything is mind-blowing, so sad we have never been educated I'm those things. I don't know why people gives less than 10 stars.

Give it a try and have your mind open.

Ignore the Misogynists & Boomer Prudes

As someone who is normally not a fan of Paltrow and her Goop empire, I was obviously hesitant to watch this show. However, once I saw in the trailer that it was about sex positivity, body positivity and empowerment, I felt compelled to give it a go - and I'm glad I did!

After studying anatomy in university (along with an elective course in gender and sexuality) I was surprised to still learn quite a bit from the show. In a way, it was very similar to learning about psychology and the different therapy techniques that can be applied.

I also appreciated how they tried to break down the Judeo-Christrian paradigm of how Western society views sexuality and women. And although it made me feel angry when I reflected on my own shame and lack of education about my body growing up (as a result of this paradigm), I also felt excited that I got to learn more about myself through asking questions and by being informed on new avenues to explore sexuality.

I'm happy that shows like this are finally getting into the spotlight, as they're helping all types people reconnect with their bodies and redefine what sex is to them. I recommend giving it a go; I guarantee you'll learn a thing or two, which will inevitably help you and your partner/future partners out.

Pure Happiness

I loved the show. U will learn something and think about yourself and relationships.

What mostly impressed me were the people who in all honesty showed their most intimate feelings, fears, desires, frustrations... for anyone to see, very brave.

It's nice to see honest happiness on someones face.

Joy brings joy.

All respect to the participants.

Love it. This is how humans are meant to have sex.

This show is extremely well done. People love to hate on goop for no reason except they're not ready to hear the information they'redelivering. If you've never dabbled into spirituality this show can still be for you but it's easier if you're already familiar with certain aspects.

I would have loved to see a couple with two male identifying people, because especially the gay community is so riddled with oversexualization and fixation on genitals. This show could've helped the community even more with showing a different route to gay sex. I love that they had two lesbian couples and talked about same sex experiences. I was just missing representation where I feel it is needed the most. The gay men that still need healing from their shame, healing from being reduced to a penis or a hole or the plain emotionally abuse going on for short term sexual gratification.

Overall I really enjoyed this and I want more more more. I definetly learned a lot of new things and my perspectives have been shifted and in some aspects solidified.

lovely

Informative, gentle, and an intro to an education that we don't have and desperately need. Various types of couples are represented which I appreciated. I really enjoyed this and was moved by it.

Important & Impactful

This is tremendously important and impactful. Pleasure and intimacy is a birthright and not something that should be hidden. So happy this subject is explored on such a large scale. The series is very vulnerable and requires, at minimum a curiosity to know more about yourself.

We are all human, lest stop pretending we're not.

Watch, listen. There is something in this for all.

Ask yourself, how did you get here?

When a mommy and a daddy (or two mommy's ) love each other.... Boom, you!

Why not enjoy ourselves on this stupid rock, floating in space?

Addictive

I'm not a big fan of goop or Gwyneth Paltrow so when I saw this show pop up on Netflix, I was prepared to roll my eyes throughout the show. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see couples who were willing to be open and vulnerable throughout the series. It was heartwarming to watch. I learned some new things too.

Loved.

I wasn't sure at first if I wanted to watch at first. I loved watching. And the cast was beautiful, honest, and dynamic. This may be a difficult concept for other to be comfortable talking about and sharing and that's what I loved the most.
