After a long time I've seen this type of unique story presented by hindi film industry. Thanks to Jio for making this possible. Talking about the film, movie start with a decent note where a couple has been broke up and then the boy started seeing the other girl which he has met in a bar. From there the movie gets interesting and trust me it gets real interesting to watch. I've never expected this film will explore that kind of genre which is one of the best subject in horror world I won't talk about that because it could spoil the movie for you. Movie takes it's time to build up but after 30-40 mins the movie picks up the pace and things get real exciting.

Sonali Seygal one of the best performance of her career superb acting by her.

There are major flaws in this film such as the execution is not proper. You have the story but execution is very low it seems like we are watching some cheap movie with a serial budget. 2nd problem is the VFX it is very bad specially in the climax. Music and performance of the cast is average.

All n all if you are looking for fresh and unique horror flick in Hindi language go and watch this you'll not be disappointed...

I love the way what the direction takes place, where the romantic and horror concept arises in movie. I will say the movie is far better than many of the Bollywood horror movies of all times.

I love the way where the two dimensional world told in the movie, showing the tri symetric concept of a movie to love all .

Some scary moments were there which was a good one . Overall movie is good to go for a one time watch i love this movie 🍿🎥 in a vast way.. same as expecting more and better from this horror concept movie.

Needless to say that I had never heard about this 2022 Indian horror movie titled "Aseq", as I happened to stumble upon it by random chance here in 2023. But the movi's cover was really interesting, and thus I opted to sit down and watch it.

Writers Gauri Karnik and Sarim Momin put together a storyline that rather failed to entertain me, especially since there wasn't much of a red thread throughout the course of the 106 minutes that the movie ran for. And so many things in the narrative felt random and completely out of context, as if director Sarim Momin was simply just making things up as the filming of "Aseq" was progressing. And that made sitting through "Aseq" quite an ordeal.

The acting performances in "Aseq" were fair enough, despite the fact that the actors and actresses had very little of any proper contents to work with. Suffice it to say that I wasn't familiar with a single performer on the cast list, given my limited exposure to the Indian cinema.

For a horror movie, then I will say that "Aseq" was a swing and a miss. Writers Gauri Karnik and Sarim Momin just didn't manage to deliver anything scary, much less anything actually interesting or particularly enjoyable.

If you enjoy horror movies, like I do, then do yourself a favor and skip on "Aseq", because it simply isn't worth the time, money or effort. Some of us suffered through this so you don't have to.

My rating of "Aseq" lands on a three out of ten stars.

What is this?? Does the director even know the Abc of film making?

The first 10mins sets the tone for the disaster which is to follow..who knows what the criteria for casting films are anymore. There's absolutely nothing to like about this film so I'm struggling to criticise just one thing.

Starts with some random visions, disjointed scenes, followed up by a love song and then again some spooky cupboards opening and closing.

Now what I don't understand is why is this clown still living in a house that's spooking him? Why does he run outside when scared and then return back to investigate?

Conveniently information is revealed and hidden for effect.

I think the producer got conned into taking everyone for a holiday to London which was the true motive behind this film.

I would put this series my top 5 off all time despite the last few series were a tad disappointing. Maybe COVID affected the script writing but it did tail off. Enough of that and on to the good stuff. The early seasons are just phenomenal. It's less about the walkers and more about the characters and relationships they build and the challenges they faced in trying to forge a life amidst the horror around them. And in fact the other people rather than the walkers prove more of a problem to them. There's so much to keep you on tenterhooks. Stories are told brilliantly, there's genuine terror and fear. A constant menace. The first secens are incredible. There are moments that you'll never forget. Moments that will shake you to your core. Moments that are just 'what the...'

Extremely horrible right from the casting to the acting and dialogues. Vardhan Puri fails miserably to deliver a good performance and I dont think its his fault alone. Dont watch this movie. Please dont go by the ratings. This is horrible. Its a story based on a type of Jinn called Aseq who takes a human form looking for love. I can say the plot is not bad but the way it is directed is full of cringe. Do yourself a favour and watch Jagged Mind on Hotstar coz its worth it. Or watch Kerala Crime Files. Even Tin and Tina is better than this. I repent watching this movie. I just watched it coz I liked Vardhan Puri's acting in Yeh Saali Aashiqui. Disappointed!

Aseq, where do I begin? This film is a prime example of how a project can go completely off the rails. From the casting to the acting, direction, and screenplay, everything about this film is an utter disappointment. In fact, it's hard to comprehend how it even made it to the big screen.

Let's start with the casting. It seems as though the casting director had no idea what they were doing. The actors chosen for the roles were completely mismatched and lacked any chemistry or believability. Their performances were wooden, uninspired, and devoid of any emotional depth. It felt like watching a group of amateurs attempting to act for the very first time.

The direction of Aseq is equally as abysmal. The pacing is inconsistent, and the scenes lack coherence. There is no clear vision or storytelling finesse. It almost feels like the director had no idea how to bring the script to life and simply let the film meander aimlessly from one scene to another. The result is a disjointed mess that fails to engage or captivate the audience.

As for the screenplay, it is an absolute disaster. The dialogue is cringe-worthy and lacks any semblance of wit or intelligence. The plot itself is convoluted and confusing, making it nearly impossible to follow or care about the characters' journeys. It's as if the writers threw together a mishmash of clichés and tropes without any consideration for originality or coherence.

Any positive reviews of this film must be fabricated because it is genuinely difficult to find any redeeming qualities. Aseq deserves no more than a single star, and even that feels generous. It is a prime example of a film that should have never seen the light of day.

In conclusion, Aseq is a trainwreck of a film. From its terrible casting choices to its lackluster acting, misguided direction, and incoherent screenplay, it fails to deliver on any level. Save your time and money and steer clear of this cinematic disaster.

I knew nothing about this movie before watching it. I have adhd and I though for sure I'd never make it though a film that had substitute and was over some hours long. But the movie never stopped being entertaining... fast pace... lots of heart... visually awesome. The film was just great! Everybody involved should be super proud for making a very entertaining film. So glad I gave it a chance. Probably one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I highly recommend it. 10/10. He is an extraordinary man...no any other Director can match his level... The story is quite ordinary but Sir makes it different and give emotions to this master piece. This movie had my heart pounding and stomach churning at multiple points. Truthfully, I went into it thinking it was going to be a super sad film - as my sister had warned it made her cry. It did end up being a very emotional movie - but I'm not sure that sad does this movie justice. There are moments of sadness, but also absolute joy, giddiness, disgust, anger, disappointment vindication. So much is explored in this movie and I really can't recommend it hurt ... but are essential to be seen ... and le not this film. Great story choice. Scene play is Amazing. Mind blowing action drama emotion acting & everything is best. Actors best output so far you'll be fan of them 100/100.
