Movie lacks story line and direction , there are only couple of good punch lines in whole movie. Whole punjabi film industry contributed into this movie but could not make a difference. Storyline progresses very slowly with songs every 15 minute to stretch the screenplay time.

Characters played their roles well.

Full movie was boaring completed this movie in 5 days by just forwarding no storyline worst ending. Most irritating part of this movie is teeth of gippy garewal. He need to learn about comedy. I don't know how people rating this movie more then 2 star. Time wasting movie. Totally waste of time.

Movie is good but the content & dialogues are such that can't be watched with family. Contains punches & dialogues that are double meaning.

You will not enjoy it if you will watch with family.

But with friends you will definitely welcome it.

Surprised that Neeru Bajwa would sign for a movie like this. This movie fails to develop any solid story, does not elicit any emotion other than a couple laughs here and there and is cringe worthy over all - at the level of acting, location, storywriting.

Best movie of the year 2021. Gippy acting is exceptional. The best direction, best songs, best acting, The movie is full of comedy , you will not feel bored at any point, Believe me watch it now Best best best.

I waited till the very end to justify the review. But I think some punjabi film makers are just churning out movies without any substance. No story no character arc, just to extract money from producing houses and viewers they make films which are worthless.kindly improve your skill if you have any.

Awsome movie. Everything is perfect from story to direction to acting... Gippy is amazing loved his jodi with himanshi . Himanshi was a surprise package not only she looked gorgeous but her acting part was just superb..love the song gori diyan jhanjhra and Jatt naal yarian.

This seems to be a worst movie in Punjabi language.

I usually tend not to write review unless it is best or worst. And this one falls into latter, not many movies are such a waste of time.

Don't watch unless you're paid lot of bucks to waste your time.

I see Gippy grewal's social media and he post videos watching great movies and web series but when he makes movies like this, its such a shame. Even his other movies like pani che madhani and warning also he wasted by adding his role to it. Just because he saw this webseries is running successful so he added himself without even any need for him to the film.

Movie is great to watch with Friends but you can't watch this with your family.

Must watch with friends, I appreciate Gippy's direction and acting.

Double meaning dialogs, emotional experiences, and the reality of life everything shown perfectly.

This is difference between gippy and diljit ....if u really want to make comedy make some thing which brings laughts not headache.bring something which is logical about to attract audience and try to cam down yourself when you act.

Great movie. Story line was just awesome. Great cast. This movie definitely have to collect about 30-40cr. But due to covid restrictions and less promotion it wasn't achieve it's mark. Seriously a very good movie with great dialogues and poetry. Just Go and watch now it on Amazon Prime.

So gippy needs to understand that he is not a good actor and more so not good at comedy at all.

Also, just because he produced this movie doesn't mean he should be the lead role in it, something makes me believe Binnu Dhillon would have been better but again, what's the storyline????

There was no storyline in this... repeats the same idea every 12 minutes and comedy write up was toooooo dead to be enjoyed.!

Also, what's with 1 million songs?

Gippy needs to quit direction as well... as a person in creative industry I didn't find one good scene in the movie that made me go wow...

Loved the movie, Gippy Grewal played character of straight forward Girdhari lal very well. Challenges that Beautiful and honest people face such as being called simpleton are presented very well. At the same time excellent portrayel of time before partition. Finally all the songs in the movie are selected carefully and are sung in tune. Not like today's popular artists singing about violence that is far away from true punjabi culture but closer to Compton culture. You ll love this movie and songs if you really understand punjabi culture, or it ll be bouncer over your head.

Not many can appreciate the ingenuity of film makers to bring one of the folk based character of Girdhari Lal on the screen. Gippy was successful in bring the life into Girdhari lal of whom we have heard in folk bolian since our childhood. A very light hearted movie to appreciate which you might need a certain wit. The character of Girdhari lal is explored like a study with introduction of 7 girls one after another. And like a short stanza of a poem all short episodes with various girls are laid out beautifully. A fresh story, I enjoyed this one, its one of tge gew good ones coming out these days.
