An actually good movie

This movie will break your heart and mend it. It was so beautiful in the way it's about God's love for His children the one's who have trusted in Jesus as their savior. We start out poor lost in sin then Jesus finds us and we are brought into the kingdom and by trusting in Jesus as our Savior we become princes and princesses of our Heavenly Father. Such beautiful imagery.

The acting is good in some parts and not great in other parts as par for most Christian movies, but when you just let the movie sweep you in and take over your heart you will fall in love with this movie.

There are some trigger warnings of domestic violence at the beginning but if you just hold on through it, it's truly worth the watch.

You will cry your eyes out in the best way. The power of Forgiveness is so beautiful!

It's someone's true story

It may not be a Hollywood great, but as an employee of a family law firm, I can tell you it's so true to life for so many children. It's also true for people who call on the name of the Lord from a true heart.

If you call on the name of the Lord to be saved, you will be saved.

That boy kept calling on Jesus.

Loved it!!!

Unbelievable tear-jerker

This movie had me in tears from beginning to end. While it's categorized as a drama with elements of romance-centered around two close friends reuniting and honoring a childhood promise-what truly touched me was the faith woven throughout the story.

I deeply connected with the young boy's unwavering faith in God. His trust and heartfelt prayers during his most challenging moments were incredibly moving and brought me to tears.

I highly recommend this film to fellow Christians and to anyone who's ever questioned God's presence during life's storms. It's a powerful reminder that faith can carry us through even the darkest times.

Like a Toddler Wrote A Screenplay and 1st graders acted it.

I got about minutes into this and realized the trite, horrible dialogue and grade school level acting was not a joke. There may have been a real story here but I could not see dedicating time to get there because it is so horribly done. I realize this is a christian movie, and that may irritate an atheist like me, but come on! You have to give a viewer something to think about other than just how awful a production is. I have watched hundreds of movies with messages I disagree with that still entertained me and made me think outside of my normal life experience.

So, christians, if you have message to impart, do so. But do it artistically, with subtlety and surprise and intrigue. I could tell this was a jesus movie in the first 30 seconds. So many christian movies have this same flavor of piety and trite innocence with a bad guy that speaks like he collected every alcoholic bad habit and addict phrase ever seen on screen and mimicked his way through a scene. These movies are so bad. They are less interesting than sitting through a stranger's family slide show of their trip to Disney World. If you want to spread your message of jesus' love, do it well or it will only be seen by people who already love your jesus, while gratingly irritating the rest. This is so bad that I feel embarrassed for everybody involved, because I don't think they know just how bad it is.

Needs Improving

This had potential, but it fell short in execution. The story, while heartfelt, felt predictable and lacked emotional depth. The acting was inconsistent-some scenes felt forced rather than genuine. The pacing dragged at times, making it hard to stay engaged. While the film's faith-based message is admirable, it often felt heavy-handed rather than naturally woven into the narrative. The cinematography and production value were subpar, making it feel more like a rushed project than a polished film. Overall, it was disappointing and could have been much better with stronger direction. I wanted to connect with the characters, but the script just didn't give them enough life.

Great for bible bashers

I should have read the reviews more carefully. I thought I'd love this movie for the storyline. It started really well although traumatic. Then every sentence started referring to god and David launching into the same song over and over. Stuck it out just to see who he ended up with. The characters lacked any depth and credibility. It was less believable and enjoyable than most afternoon TV movies. Not much more to say other than if you're looking for quality drama don't bother with this. Watched on Tubi which I now realise is a christian chanel. Definitely not for me. I think Americans are more into this kind of stuff.
