Fairy Tail (2009)

Review by declanwolfx

Fairy Tail

8/10

Some where between Naruto and Pokemon

It's a great show but if your into something serious it is not the place to look. The show has allot of elements you will be familiar with characters have techniques like characters in Naruto, it also has discussions about peoples techniques also like Naruto and people scream out their moves as they do it and get their own back ground when they attack like Pokemon. The whole thing feels a bit like a video game characters have levels and elemental types. But none of that is really important. Overall it has a pretty childish feel some where between Naruto and Pokemon. Personally I think many of the more childish things make combat seems less important to with some exceptions for some characters fighting styles.

The show is split into separate quests and it seems like every one of the main characters gets a full long quest to themselves, while others get side quests. There is a little bit of mystery but it's not very noticeable, it is to do with things that most stories never explain any way. The main characters are all memorable and in some ways funny and like I've already mentioned, they all have their own stories. There's not really much of a huge over arching story which is fine because everything remains very consistent through out even if lunar island had nothing to do with R-system, the effects on characters persist. Except with Natsu and Gray, they are meat heads and I saw no change in that through out all of what was available on net flicks.

In summary endure through the kiddy way the show looks because the characters are all worth knowing. The show is family friendly but some of the stories will have appeal to all people.
