One of great films . A farmer loving, in intense and powerful manner, his land, cattle and family . The droughts hits his land. His effort to save the animals and his family, to convince his wife about the need to remain in the unfortunately place , the pressure of bank and the sacrifice of cattle, the stubbornes and his status of expression of desperation , the decision of lady .

This pieces make this film more than great:

• the images of land , telling a poetic , cold, bitter story itself;
• the acting, remarkable, inspired at whole , of Luke Mulquiney;
• the polo game .

A film impressive for direct, precise dose of honesty. And for the remarkable portraits of characters, for inspired cinematography and for the fair suggestions about the tragedy of a simple family front to drought.
