My thoughts

Best Spanish series I have ever seen. The main character fits perfect. The supporting actors are incredible. The locations are interesting. The suspense is insane! I came home and blocked my self from all other audio sources just to pay attention to all the words in detail when this was on last time around. The way the big drug lords handle their family and especially their mother and siblings it just gives you so much to think about when your watching this. Actually the only thing this series is missing to make it a double super hit was me in it! :) I would have done it for free! So to sum it all up. I would recommend this series to everyone I know. There's a lot of stuff in here that always leaves you thinking and wanting to see more!

My first and last series in 30 years

When you like episodes with a 4 word plot line, and you have 45minutes to spare for telling this line, you love El Capo. The twists and turns make it into a 1990 soap series in stead of a regular TV series. Despite the quality of the actors, it never touched a nerve. After 20 episodes it went from "what's next" to "I thought so" or "why not". So in this way the series can last 20 years or more.

I sincerly hope this series didn't damage the professional careers of those involved.

could not endure to watch seasons 2 and 3, for which I apologise
