Nora is a musician who left town to pursue her dreams of making it big. Returning home from a life in Los Angeles, her husband away on tour, we see her settling in (or not) to her new life, her daughter's new school, and dealing with the expectations and judgments from the other moms who have thoughts about her leaving town and now coming back. Interspersed with surreal and surprisingly hummable musical numbers that flesh out the character and keep the movie moving forward at a wonderful pace.

Stumbled upon this at my local indie theater. What a special story of what it's like to face the reality of your dreams not working out exactly as you hoped. The musical numbers were so interesting and unique. Thrilled to have found this gem.
