a radical decision

A delicate theme and its fair use. A scientist , her very ill father, her genetic experiment , not so unrealistic.

And an option who she must do.

For this, she has a question and the answer to it . And she makes a radical decision .

The source of seduction in the case of Mongrel is represented by so many cultural references . And by the dialogue between Anna and Bardolph.

It seems, in some measure, a Biblical parable. The only weak point - the end, reminding , in deep measure, The Animals Farm by George Orwell.

Exactly this end defines as a provocative exercise for viewer Mongrel. The grin of Bardolph , the concrete residence, the balcony and the waves are good clues for a good new part. Not ignoring the motif of gesture of Anna.
