Beatrice Puccilli, Giulio Brizzi, Noemi Magagnini, Tommaso Donadoni, Alice Lupparelli, Penelope Raggi, Luigi Bruno, and Federico Russo in Adorazione (2024)

Adorazione

3/10

A very disturbing portrayal of relationships. All of them. Mainly friendships.

I would not stay in friendships/relationships like that. They are so self-centered and really badly acting to each other. (Adults, kids). Like there is no empathy or even kindness. Most of them do not feel remorse. Some of them started to feel it only AFTER there were big consequences ahead.

The other characters frequently refer to something that some did in the past. But WE DO NOT KNOW what it was, and they NEVER tell us. So you do not understand what is going on, in the beginning, quite a lot. Because of that, I skipped a lot of minutes/some parts of scenes because it was too long and not going anywhere with the story.

All the episodes have a weird and uncomfortable vibe. And I do not mean on purpose (as Tom Burton is doing). I mean an unsettling vibe.

And then the nudity comes. Of course, only for the young girls, whose characters are not even 18. (16 be precise). And someone thought this was ok.

I mean... why?
