You don't know what it's like

Yup, that's said in this. Sounds pretty emo, doesn't it? I'd have to say that it is. Well, it is revenge horror, I guess one could have guessed that it would be. That in itself doesn't have to be a problem. This is fairly competently edited and filmed, nothing special but not poor. Quality of audio and picture are adequate. They knew what they were doing, and they didn't go for anything that they couldn't accomplish. The scientific explanation for the telekinesis gloves isn't bad. This has fine dialog, if not necessarily anything quotable or memorable. The characters are what you'd expect, and you can see right through them from when you first meet them. Acting is decent. While this keeps it from being a masterpiece, it could still be good. The fact that it's, to an extent, pro-Christian propaganda(if it does admit that fanaticism is a negative) won't ruin it for everyone. However, this really doesn't deliver what you'd expect. Well, it does, just not all that much of it. You see, it's more about plot and build-up than conclusion and pay-off. Maybe they're hoping they'll get to do a sequel. The FX are nicely done. This is about relationships and failures at such. There is a bit of strong language and moderate violence in this. The DVD comes with a one-minute trailer that gives a lot away. I recommend this to fans of this sub-genre who want it to be about supplying reasons for the punishment over the dishing out of it. 5/10

If you have nothing else to watch

The story is good although nothing original. The main characters are well developed and inspire empathy but the acting was mostly amateurish. The sub-plot regarding the sheriff divorce and presumed corruption was rather pointless to the main story and not instrumental to his characterization. The special effects are non-existent, however non necessary either.

In spite of those flaws, the film is quite enjoyable even though the ending is not conclusive, probably anticipating an unlikely sequel.

A decent film to spend some time watching if you have no better options. I wish they had a bigger budget because it would had been a very good movie.

Deadbeat film

This is a zero-budget sci-fi thriller about a put-upon kid who comes into possession of a powerful glove that gives him the power of telekinesis. By utilising this he is able to go through his life and take revenge on everybody who's been oppressing him in his mundane existence.

This is an el cheapo production, shot in Las Vegas and with a no-name cast and crew. The plot bears a few superficial similarities to previous 'glove' themed films (like THE GLOVE) and stories I've read, but the terrible execution means that it's a near-unwatchable piece of entertainment. Yep, you guessed it: non-existent characterisation, bad acting, poor production values.

This boring production is filled with small talk and not much else. There's very little in the way of action staging or indeed incident so the budget for this independent film must have been very low indeed. The resultant film is one which no movie-goer in his right mind could enjoy.
