I Cant Wait For Kim Ji-wons Next K-Drama After Queen Of Tears Incredible Performance
Image
Kim Ji-won's role in Queen of Tears is a major highlight of her career, solidifying her as a major lead actress. Queen of Tears is a massive hit in 2024, arguably becoming an instant classic. Hae-in in Queen of Tears is a transformative character that further demonstrates Kim Ji-won's acting range.

Kim Ji-wons next K-drama after Queen of Tears has not been announced yet, and it will take a while given the series just ended, but I cannot wait to see what she does after playing Hae-in. Queen of Tears ending confirmed it as one of the best K-dramas of 2024, giving its lead characters a much-needed happily ever after following a troubling path that began way before they got married. Queen of Tears has arguably been 2024s biggest K-drama hit so far considering both broadcast TV and streaming, which is obviously massive for its lead actors.

Kim Ji-won’s 8 Best K-Dramas, Ranked
Image
Kim Ji-won's performances in dramas like Queen of Tears and Fight For My Way showcase her range and sincerity. Her portrayal of characters like Yoo Rachel in The Heirs and Choi Ae-ra in Fight For My Way are unforgettable. Kim Ji-won's nuanced acting in My Liberation Notes and Descendants of the Sun highlights her emotional depth and talent.

Though Queen of Tears has become one of the biggest K-dramas of the year so far, Kim Ji-won has a number of great performances under her belt that deserve just as much attention. Initially trained as a singer under the name JessicaK, Kim Ji-won changed career paths to debut as an actor in 2008. Since her acting debut in the sitcom High Kick 3, Kim Ji-won has continually proven that she excels in any genre as she continues to build on her already impressive filmography and deliver performances that only seem to get better.

Korean dramas have provided a safe and comforting space to the audience over the years. A list of new streaming releases on Netflix, what a concept!

Netflix’s list of new releases for April 2022 is highlighted by the return of one of the great sci-fi comedies ever. Natasha Lyonne is set to return as the temporally displaced Nadia on Russian Doll season 2 on April 20. The first season of the show premiered in 2019 and appeared to tell a rather complete story about one Brooklyn woman’s experiences of dying over and over again. But Lyonne and fellow producers Leslye Headland and Amy Poehler still have some story to tell. Netflix is undoubtedly very happy to let them continue to tell it.
