Another classic example of how Americans don't understand irony!
If you were expecting a high quality cooking show, I understand why you might be upset. But based on the title, what did you expect?
It's fun, it's supposed to be tongue in cheek and on that level, Paris nails it. Just roll with it and have fun as well. She doesn't offend anyone and if anything you have to admire how she can take the piss out of herself so well.
This is who Paris Hilton is and what Paris Hilton does! Nothing has changed and she isn't trying to be anything else.
Don't wait until episode 3 to decide you hate it. Using words to describe food such as "tanned" and "melty" spring up pretty early so that should have been alarm bells to abort if that is going to be something you're not going to appreciate
It's playful, it's refreshing and it's inoffensive. I don't feel guilty for watching and enjoying. Why must everything be so serious all the time?

Most reviews on here totally miss the point of this show and the humour. It's meant to be bad and it's done brilliantly. It's utterly wincing, tongue and cheek, binge-worthy kitschness. Paris is obviously horrendous at cooking and has no desire to be a chef. It's about shallow, glittery, sugar coated girliness, it's camp with great fashion and genuinely really funny moments. Definitely not for everyone, but if you get it, then it's worth the watch 🌸💕🍸🌷🌟💫🍒🍟🍫🍿🎂🍩
Silly, glittery show and mostly not about food but Paris and her friends. The cameras spend 90% of the time on Paris's face and the rest on the food she's attempting to make. Watch it for a laugh but don't expect to learn much about cooking.
Why the hell is Netflix pandering to people like Paris Hilton? With no discernible talent, this show might be quasi-reality TV, but it's just excruciating. It isn't even funny in an ironic way; the celebrities featured here have the personality of cardboard. They are the literal opposite of our aspirations for what role model should be.
Netflix could be spending money supporting actual talent; you know, by making shows with actual talented writers and actors that need the break. Instead we get this monstrosity...

I don't know where all the hate is coming from. I personally found this show really relaxing. We got so many things going on and this helped a lot for my mental health. I really wasn't a fan of Paris back in my childhood but today she is doing something she wants and decided to share it with us. I support her sharing something she enjoys and to be completely honest I enjoyed watching her as well.
