The storylines are intriguing. It's hard for me to watch just one episode every time. The only downside is you will see the same actors and actresses throughout the series since they did not have a lot of manpower back then. Nonetheless, all of them are talented people who can play well in those many different roles. In my opinion, this is up there with Journey to the West 1986.
One thing I like about these old movies are the capability to write good interesting stories, fascinating character developments for good characters. Good characters back then have very high standards and are always interesting instead of the typical, boring type we see today.
