This was originally the sequel to 'The Knowing' film that released in March 2nd, 2018. For unexplainable reasons, Writer & Director, Ethan Trinh didn't liked how the very first version that he completed. The original title was for this project was called 'The Knowing 2: An Improved Life'. Three years later in February 7th, 2021--Trinh gathered up the footage back altogether because he claimed "the editing was amateurish the first time around".
The whole short film was shot on an iPhone 8 Plus.
Was edited on iMovie where Ethan Trinh edits his YouTube videos & short films.
Writer & Director, Ethan Trinh choose the name for his character/role "Byron" because he thought of James Dean which was his middle name. Dean was Trinh's favorite classic actors.
Also, since the character of 'The Knowing' was a rebel, Trinh felt like he should make his role called as "Byron", James Dean's middle name.
