Paramount and Nickelodeon are reportedly think, think, thinking about a new continuation for Jimmy Neutron.
The Jimmy Neutron franchise kicked off in 2001 with the smash hit, computer-animated feature film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. Following the success of the movie, Nickelodeon was quick to start work on an animated series starring the character. Thus, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius was spawned.
The cartoon ran from 2002 to 2006 and a spin-off entitled Planet Sheen followed shortly after. Since then, however, the Jimmy Neutron property has laid dormant.

A quarter century ago, on May 27, 1988, fans said goodbye to the freckle-faced, mismatched, puppy-loving titular character of "Punky Brewster."
The series ended with the only family left in Punky's life -- her golden retriever Brandon -- getting married to his fellow canine Brenda in the courtyard of their apartment building. Kibble was thrown, boas were worn and barks sounded throughout Chicago. Check out a clip below.
The show may have only lasted four seasons, but "Punky Brewster" left a lasting impression and made pre-teen Soleil Moon Frye, who played the little leading lady, a household name.
In 1989, she co-hosted "Girl Talk," based on the board game of the same name and co-starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, but the show only lasted one season.
After a decade of being known only as Punky Brewster, Frye made her triumphant return to TV in Season 5 of "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch." She'd had stints on "The Wonder Years,...

It's the toxic ooze that just keeps on giving. If the idea of a Michael Bay-produced Tmnt film has left you with more doubt than delight, there's also a third animated TV series on the way.

Nickelodeon UK will present an exclusive sneak peek of the upcoming series as part of a presentation on Saturday, May 26, at 11.30 am, featuring Rich Magallanes, Nickelodeon senior vice president of animation and current series, and original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman.
"It is a huge thrill to be able to give UK fans a sneak peek of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," said Magallanes. "Working on the series has been a real privilege and a lot of fun. I'm excited to share the...

The Lord of the Rings' Sean Astin will lend his voice to Raphael in the new Nickelodeon CG-animated TV reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He rounds out the rest of the voice cast that includes Jason Biggs (American Pie) as Leonardo, Greg Cipes (Teen Titans) as Michelangelo and Rob Paulsen (Planet Sheen) as Donatello. The cool thing about Paulsen is that he was the original Raphael in the first series from 1987-1996.
The animated series is currently in production, and is set to premiere in the fall 2012. The show brought together a pretty cool voice cast, and I hope the show end up being cool. I didn't really care for the initial character designs, but I'm still looking forward to seeing them in action.
Fans will get there first look at the series at San Diego Comic-Con in July. To watch the first promo trailer click here.

Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron is one of those cartoon series you can only love if you grew up watching it as a kid. Otherwise, the formulaic storytelling and lack of interesting characters just doesn’t make for an enjoyable time. The stories get so repetitive that even those who watched the series when it originally aired in 1993 will have a hard time watching more than a few episodes.
The series is released as a 5-Disc DVD set as part of the Hanna-Barbera Classic Collection. It features the voice talents of Barry Gordon as Razor, Charles Adler as Chance Furlong, Gary Owens as Commander Ulysses Feral and Tress MacNeille as Callie Briggs. Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh, Gnomeo & Juliet, The Super Hero Squad Show), Mark Hamill (Batman: Arkham City), Candi Milo (Planet Sheen) and Lori Alan (90210, Family Guy) also perform guest roles.

HollywoodNews.com: Soleil Moon Frye gets back into the series game — that is, her voice does — in Nickelodeon’s new ‘Planet Sheen’ cartoon spin-off of ‘Jimmy Neutron.’ Says the one-time child star of ‘Punky Brewster’ fame, “My kids are so excited, they could not wait.”
She tells us her two-year-old daughter, Jagger, and five-year-old daughter, Poet, have seen clips of her animated character, and “They say, ‘Mommy, be blue.’ It kind of looks like me, but blue,” observes Soleil. She adds, “Animation is so much fun. You get to be completely uninhibited, have total freedom.” She says her character is “quite the yodeler.”
As for when Soleil will return to acting in a live action kind of way, she tells us finding the time is tough. First, there’s “being a mom.” Then there’s the fact, “My life is insanity.” She has...
