On October 7th 2022, Rupture will make its debut world premiere in Birmingham, UK at the prestigious Mockingbird Cinema. The tickets sold out in the first 48 hours after it being announced. Over 100 people are expected to show up for the screening, including the films star, Mark Strange and director, Ranjeet S. Marwa.
Director Ranjeet S. Marwa states that he likes to shoot in his home town of Birmingham, UK and takes this approach from another UK based director, Gareth Evans (The Raid, Havoc) as he also likes to shoot in his hometown of Cardiff.
This is director Ranjeet S. Marwa's second commercial feature film after 'Exiled: The Chosen Ones'.
The director states that Mike Pondsmith (creator of the Cyberpunk 2077 video game) was a major influence to him.
The project was in various stages of development during 2020 and 2021 before financing was pulled together to make the project work.
