Young prodigy Prof. Jennifer Connelly, holder of 5 PhDs, develops dream-monitoring technology. While testing it on herself, she encounters 'Adam', an unexpected AI entity created by her invention.

Due to her age, Professor. Jennifer Connelly is often described as a science prodigy. A genius of our time, with 5 Phd's psychology, psychiatry Neurology, Physics and Chemistry. Jennifer's primary studies are in dreams and the effects they have on the waking mind. For the past 6 years, her studies have led her to theorise that with the right equipment, she can not only watch and record someone else's dreams but maybe even influence them in a subconscious way. To prove this theory, and believing it may have military applications, Jennifer's Oxford University College obtain a substantial government grant to build the equipment she needs to journey into this new unknown area of neural science. Once construction is complete, Prof Connelly, decides to experiment on herself and once asleep she is met be an artificial intelligence 'Adam', an unexpected by-product of her invention and her conduit into the world she has created.
