Decent Christian show

I think this is a very interesting series. I hope it continues into more seasons! It is a clean decent show about the spiritual world of good versus evil in our world. I enjoy it is Christian so no vulgarity, or anything rated R. Just a decent show! Thank you! So nice to watch something Christian and not full of the violence and cursing and sex on the other channels.

Michael the ArchAngel portrays a solid strong Angel as you would imagine him to be. Sam (the devil) is portrayed by excellent acting, and just makes it come alive the way he manipulates ppl. The way Sam recruits other Angels to help destroy the good in someone to join his side. It gives a different perspective to probably how reality is. I usually have the attention span of a nat. This show holds my interest. Keep up the good work!

EXCELLENT SERIES - for what it is not!

This series IS NOT morbid, scary, sexualized, violent, or propane. For this reason I LOVE THIS SERIES. The storyline concepts are very dramatic, yet the show can be viewed by the whole family.

Some things (I) find interesting are:

1. The actors all have very distinctive bone structure. I know that is weird, but it is like the devil is really the devil and the fallen angels are really fallen angels. It makes them look real even though they are in the form of humans.

2. The devil has a little sweet (ish) twist to him; I think that is brilliant since the devil is a mixture of evil and and charisma. This may be confusing so you just have to watch see what I mean.

3. The story line(s) are artfully merged with the main storyline (fight against good and evil). Secondary story lines (spiritual leader is tested) (the Arch Angel has a love interest) (one of the voices of revival is suicidal and on drugs) all add interest to the series without distracting.

No, it's not a high budget film, but it is worth watching. I'M READY FOR SEASON 2!

Average, even by Netflix standards...

Much like most of Ryan Murphy's productions, this show starts off with colorful characters and an intriguing plot line... only to completely disappoint by the second episode.

By the third one, "The Watchers" is kinda... brain dead. It's not interesting, it's not scary, the characters have basically turned into two-dimensional caricatures of themselves. It's like someone told a bunch of preschoolers to write a scary story about a family in a big house and the kids ran out of ideas after 10 minutes.

Murphy's shows all have one thing in common: they SEEM interesting, they FEEL interesting, but in the end, they're all just incredibly boring fluff pieces aspiring to be something way, way smarter than they are (2019's "The Politician" was a notable exception to that).

Such a disappointment, but not really, given Netflix's recent run of, ekhm, sub-par productions.

I wish someone had told me to skip it.

Let me stop laughing.

Maybe I should not be reviewing this series, taking into account what I mentioned above. Okay, I'm ready to review this. First impression of the guy who plays Archangel Michael: that must be Satan, he sure looks like a member of the Hells Angels motocycle club. I guess I was stereotyping, my fault. LOL Nope, he is not that really nice, good looking angel I know as Michael. I first met him, I mean the real one, when I was delived with no signs of life close to 77 years ago. He is laughing. (Right now I'm really not joking, he's saved my life many times. And no, I don't think I'm some special human being) Then the bad guy is portrait as a stereotype gay person. Since he mentions brother, he must be a fallen angel. I wasn't looking for this video on Tubi, it just showed up. If you are ultra "conservative" go for it. Me, I found it offensive from the very start.
