Chef Ryan Mckeown didn't last season one after being rude to the chief stewardess and the charter guests. He also only made basic meals with little to no effort resulting in the captain firing him.
Season one 3rd Stew Magda didn't finish the season due to her way excessive phone use during work. Texting and calling and fighting with her boyfriend constantly, at one point, caused her to use more data on board than the entire crew combined.
In season two episode 7 Luke Jones and Laura Bileskalne were both terminated by Capt. Jason Chambers.
Laura Bileskalne and Luke Jones were both terminated by Capt. Jason Chambers during season two. Jones was let go after climbing into bed naked with a drunk and passed out stew Margo Sisson without her consent. Around the same time, Bileskalne climbed into bed with deckhand Adam Kodra and tried to give him a massage after he had told her many times earlier that he didn't want her to be there. Producers stepped in to stop both situations as they were happening. Bileskalne and Jones were kicked off the show the next day. Luke Jones now lives in Dubai and owns a fitness business.
As of April 2025, Season 4 of Below Deck Down Under is filming and is set to air in 2026.
