Amazing performances, amazing actors, incredible story, it feels so real because this is what real life and love is, I absolutely loved it and I strongly recommend it.
Although I didn't find the second season very good, the first season was perfect. The naturalness of the characters and their unbreakable bond with each other were very emotional. I haven't felt this much empathy or been this affected by anything in a long time. My only problem was that the finale of the first season was sad just for the sake of being sad. I think the story could have ended much better, but I felt like they ended it like this to move the audience. If I have to talk about the second season, in the first season, both characters had problems and were constantly arguing with each other because of them. I could understand both of their problems and empathize with them. I didn't feel this in the second season. It seemed much shorter and ended quickly, I think the first season was much more natural and beautiful. I recommend people who have been in a relationship or are in a relationship to watch this series. They can learn a very good lesson.
I first saw Salih in the series Terzi. He caught my interest there as well, and I was curious to see him in another role. I felt he would be excellent, and I wasn't disappointed. I didn't like Özge at first, but that quickly changed. It's very rare for the chemistry between two main characters to work this well. I enjoyed every minute of the series. The acting was excellent, especially Salih's performance; hats off to him. One could really put themselves in his situation. The ending was exciting too, but it had a conclusion that made the series perfect for me. Congratulations to the creators!!!
After the first two episodes I really felt connected with the characters on a personal level. The conversations are raw and its the realest relationship I saw on any TV shows. While watching I found myself judging the characters and time to time judging my own relationship. I felt sad and happy for the characters throughout the whole show. I can admit that Its not a show to binge watch since I also felt to need to stop watching for some time after few episodes at once but overall it was an amazing experience. I May be biased because I really connected with the show. Maybe if you were ever in a toxic relationship, you can find it comforting too.
I really loved the connection between Deniz and Baris, their chemistry felt so real and pulled me into the story. But in Season 2, the new couple just didn't work for me. Their relationship felt kind of fake, and I couldn't tell if it was because of their acting or just a lack of chemistry.
Most of their scenes felt awkward, and honestly, I found myself cringing more than once. Their characters didn't seem fully developed either, so when they brought up past traumas, it didn't feel believable - more like something thrown in last-minute to add drama.
Overall, the emotional depth that made the first season so good just wasn't there this time around.
