Cameron Diaz Is Open To Making Movies Again, Just Not Rom-Coms
Image
Cameron Diaz, the star who rose to prominence during the late 1990s, seemed to have vanished from the Hollywood spotlight for a while. The woman who was once was the queen of romantic comedies, who illuminated the screen with her signature smile, didn't disappear entirely, she has just been exercising her right to make the movies she actually wants to make. And if you think she will return to making movies in the genre that shot her to international fame, guess again. Diaz is not open to starring in romantic comedies again. Instead, she wants to make "momcoms."

How are those different? Only Diaz knows. What seems to be important, however, is that she hasn't fully retired — she's just being more careful as to what movies she's considering making next. Diaz, 52, is set to return in 2025 with the Netflix action film, Back in Action, a film whose title only seems appropriate for the actor's comeback.

Back in Action Director Reveals How the Ending Sets Up a Potential Sequel
Image
The following contains spoilers for Back in Action, now streaming on Netflix.

Back in Action, Netflix's new spy action comedy, has just debuted on the streaming service. It marks Cameron Diaz's return to acting after a 10-year break, where she co-stars with Jamie Foxx.

The action comedy follows a married couple, played by Diaz and Foxx, who are forced back into the world of espionage after their cover is blown. This time, things are more difficult as they have children. Back in Action's ending resolved the case, but its one last twist sets up a sequel, and the director told Entertainment Weekly they have some ideas of how the story might play out.

Bayleigh Dayton and Haleigh Broucher in Big Brother (2000)
‘Big Brother 20”s Power Apps have been a total bust (so far), readers say
Bayleigh Dayton and Haleigh Broucher in Big Brother (2000)
“Big Brother 20″‘s Power Apps were supposed to shake up the game this season. They have instilled paranoia and have affected nominations and evictions, but none of them have been properly executed, or at least executed in the way everyone expected. And while the third and final Power App is still in play, 63 percent of our readers think the twist has been a total snooze so far, while only 12 percent think they’ve been great and 25 percent think it’s too soon to tell.

Sam, Tyler and Bayleigh received the three Power Apps, but two of them have not gone as intended. Sam’s Bonus Life power was enforced on Kaitlyn, but she completely bombed the comp and did not return to the game. That might actually be the biggest blindside this season. Absolutely no one saw her epic fail coming that has apparently messed up the show’s double eviction plans.

‘Big Brother 20’ spoilers: Have the Power Apps been a bust?
The big twist, or at least the first twist, of “Big Brother 20” was Power Apps. Sam, Tyler and Bayleigh were the lucky three top trending houseguests who received powers, but through six weeks, outside of the expected paranoia, the Power Apps haven’t exactly panned out the way anyone has expected.

Obviously this twist works best if everyone kept their power on the down low. Tptb want the unsuspecting shock and awe from everyone when someone gets a chance to return to the game or the Hoh’s nominations have been overthrown. But only Tyler has kept his lips sealed about his power.

Sam’s Bonus Life app was good for four evictions and was automatically used the fourth week, the same week she won Hoh. Sam, who’s all about fairness and kumbaya stuff,...

Chris Pratt's Cowboy Ninja Viking Is Indefinitely Delayed
Chris Pratt
Cowboy Ninja Viking has stalled on the runway as Universal pulls the movie's 2019 release date. The studio didn't bother giving the movie a new release date, but word is that the production is still active and will happen eventually.

Cowboy Ninja Viking is set to be another big franchise for star Chris Pratt. He already has Jurassic World with Universal, which released Fallen Kingdom this summer to huge box office numbers. And he's part of the Marvel family, leading the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

Cowboy Ninja Viking had been given the prime summer release date of June 28, 2019. This meant shooting would need to start soon. And it sounded like things were coming together nicely as Priyanka Chopra, perhaps best known for her turn in The Rock's Baywatch movie, joined the action comedy last week.

Cowboy Ninja Viking is reportedly still in active development. Universal is expected to announce a...

Laura Weintraub and James A. Ward in Identity Theft (2009)
Queen Bayleigh’s Hoh reign has been the biggest royal disappointment on ‘Big Brother 20’ so far, readers say
Laura Weintraub and James A. Ward in Identity Theft (2009)
There is still a lot more “Big Brother 20” to go, but Bayleigh has been the worst of the five Head of Households so far, according to 61 percent of our readers.

Queen Bay had an unsuccessful Hoh last week since her target, Brett, stayed, but that’s not why she ran away with the votes. She made the monumental error of telling Rachel about her Power App, which culminated with Brett exposing it to the whole house during his eviction speech. It’s like she didn’t know the whole point of the Identity Theft app was to throw a wrench into the nominations secretly to induce chaos and paranoia. That’s on top of her controlling attitude, yelling at everyone from her targets to her own alliance members. There was absolutely no reason for her to chew out Rockstar after the vote last week.

Coming in second with 17 percent was Sam,...
