- The new Ilmpressions production with the title PHONIES (AT) tells a sarcastic chamber piece about a young student and her mother, whose love for her new partner leads to conflicts between the two women. The controversial background is published one evening via an anonymous social media account. However, this is just the beginning of the more scandals that will air throughout the evening that will turn our characters' lives upside down.—Sophie Werthen
- While the student Nora is having a party in her apartment, Martin and Sabine enjoy their anniversary together. What seems like cheerful normality, however, turns into a nightmare as the evening progresses through uncovered secrets and scandals. The relationship between Nora and her mother Sabine has been strained for years. Nora condemns Sabine for the mendacious treatment of Nora's biological father and the relationship with the artist Martin. When an anonymous social media account published several scandalous photos in the course of the evening, the tide seemed to turn in their interest. But her friend's shocking secrets and intrigues also die: inside are made public, and a much larger facade of lies begins to crumble. The situation escalates until there is nothing left but the pure truth.
