Strangely addictive

I totally understand the majority of reviews complaining about the hosts way OTT excitable nature, but it's honestly a really easy watch and an addictive show. Don't get me wrong, some of the locations are far too expensive for your normal average Jo, but for someone like me who's a passionate traveller and loves seeing the world, it certainly inspires you and makes you want to travel more. I was pausing it, Googling quiet a few places a number of times. It's nothing ground breaking and the hosts are a little annoying, but for some of the locations being so spectacular, it's well worth a watch.

Good but could be better

I have to admit I mostly watched the show because I'm a fan of Megan Batoon.

While I really enjoyed the episodes, I felt like the 10-ish minutes spent per rental was too little. I would have liked to hear the hosts discuss or tell the viewers about the facts instead of having to read it on screen while something else was happening. I also would have liked to hear or see more about what options of activities or sights there are nearby. I guess I just wanted to be more informative beyond "this is the location and this is what it looks like".

I think the chosen locations and rentals were great, especially the variety of them, and I really liked the hosts. The difference in the hosts background made for interesting perspectives on the rentals (sometimes more than others, though). It was beautifully filmed as well.

Give the hosts a break!

I have been under the weather the last couple of days and this was the "light" viewing I needed. It's a show about people finding some of the coolest vacation rentals out there. But these reviewers are savage. Yes they are rich and successful, get over it, yeah most people could probably never afford some of this places. But that's why it's called escapism. But the hosts really are friends you can tell that for sure. And some of these place are awesome and I could afford to go to on my next vaca if I wanted even on my little budget.

Take your shoes off....

Well I kind of enjoyed the show, but why is it mainly in the US? Lots of other fantastic places in the world I would have loved to see. And the title did suggest.

But what really bugs me about the show is how disrespectful the hosts are to the homes they visit (for free) They never take their shoes off! Not even when they visited the famous Glass house, we saw Luis put his feet up - with shoes - in the Mies van der Rohe Barcelona bed. REALLY??? That annoyed me so much!

Yikes because the hosts have no chemistry

Would have been better to have hosts who were *actually friends* and could showcase their expertise. Netflix went with a very tired cookie-cutter framework for this show, and beyond the visuals it's very very boring. There's nothing compelling about this show.

No idea why this show is getting so much hate

Hugely enjoyable armchair traveller fluff with an engaging trio trying out super glamorous rentals for size and giving the viewer their personal take on each one, alongside the basic facts and figures. Each programme has a theme and features three different destinations in different price brackets.

The trio know their design history and it's a joy to see them, for example, beside themselves with excitement at the prospect of staying in a Frank Lloyd Wright house. They spend a night in each rental and get to try out local activities such as a wine-tasting experience or a boat trip. They look as though they're having a grand time and the mood is excitably upbeat.

Seriously, what's not to like?

Amazing places

You get to see some very beautiful places. Places you would love to visit some you might could afford some very expensive but nice to see. I have liked many of the places they have visited. And got to see some of the coolest vacation rentals that I would not know existed without this show.

At least they do show many rentals for most all budgets. Not just the expensive ones. Even the budget ones are very nice in places I would like to visit.

The co hosts scream to much. Wow ohhhhhh amazing omg wow beautiful wow this is pretty much all they say. With screaming in between.

They really need to work on what to say This makes is hard to watch.

Annoying and Pretentious

Three uppity influencers visit some pretty cool places and babble non-stop about how "gorgeous" and "amazing" everything is. I love travel shows and seeing really interesting places, but this show sucks. Who the heck are these people anyway? Why should I care what their opinions are? Apparently they're "experts" but they never really do anything to show it. There's nothing informative or entertaining about them. The places they visit are cool but I don't need 3 rando's cackling and going on about how cool it is. I can see that. Tell me something interesting! Show me you're an expert. Inform me! If you wanna see some cool places just watch it on mute.

Not world's best

This show started off on a high note in Bali, but then onwards it only got worse. (The Mexico visits were great too). Particularly, you cannot claim to visit the "world's" most amazing rentals and then spend majority of the show in America. While the hosts are generally wholesome and pleasant, they eventually run out of things to say and reveal how shallow their worldviews are (one of them can't think of any other analogy for fantastical places than Willy Wonka).

Target audience

This just feels like on long instagram influencers story. It feels super fake and oddly pretentious given they stay in economy lodgings along with the luxury spots. Also it really wasn't that informative, most of the semi useful information is just thrown on screen and the hosts just keep saying everything is beautiful without showing any ability to expand on that thought. You could do youtube top 10 lists for a lower budget and they would be just as informative.

I enjoyed it! But too condensed!

I really liked watching this as a traveler, but had to keep in mind that they had pandemic restrictions and it probably could have been better and even more places explored. A few times they went back to the same city or area...which was fine but I would have rather seen one supersized episode about that area.

The 33 minute run time was too little, I think it was far too condensed and a lot more could have been shown to viewers and I think some of the things they did would have made more sense. Overall I enjoyed it and didn't mind the hosts, I'd enjoy seeing them again or learning more about their POV.

The perfect way to go on holiday without leaving your sofa

In this show Luis, Megan and Jo travel around the world and visit some of the most bizarre and unique B&Bs in the world and in each episode they choose a different category. For example in one episode they each choose a property that's to do with something paranormal which I thought was a bit too wide a subject because the first property they choose was a haunted house and it would have been interesting if they had each choose a haunted house. Although this might have made the hosts over the top reactions get on my nerves too much. And yes sometimes the guests reactions did seem a bit silly but if I was getting paid to stay at some of these luxurious B&Bs then my reaction would probably seem a bit weird and over the top as well.

As well as sticking to a category each host also usually chooses a different type of property for example Luis always chooses something really luxurious and sometimes ridiculously expensive. For example in one episode he chooses this resort where a group of up to 18 guests can stay for 15,000 dollars a night. At first this did seem too much but for the price your group gets to stay in not just one room or one villa but on your own little island with no other guests and all your food, drinks and staff are included. So it might seem expensive but I think that it is the ultimate way to relax and if you can afford it, it'll be a once in a lifetime experience.

Jo usually chooses somewhere unique for example in one episode she chooses a B&B in the middle of a dessert that's made completely out of glass so in the right light it looks almost invisible, how cool is that?

And Megan usually chooses somewhere cheap which shows that you don't have to be a millionaire to visit some of these places. For example in one episode she chooses a little treehouse made completely out of bamboo for only 24 dollars a night. Again it would have been good if in one episode each host could choose somewhere that has to be less than 50 or 30 dollars a night. Then they could have done another episode where each place is at least 5000 dollars a night.

But the wide range of categories that they choose from is good because in one episode they each choose an eco friendly property, in another they each choose a property that helps you give back and in another they each choose a property on a waterfront. This shows that there really is a wide range of B&Bs for every type of traveller.

Although it is a bit of a shame that you never see them visit the UK because I know there's a B&B in the UK made out of a combine harvester and another one made out of a bus. So they could do one episode where they each have to visit a property that used to be a vehicle. So I hope they do another series because there are loads more places they could visit. And I really liked watching this show because it was the perfect holiday that I could enjoy without leaving my sofa.

Beautiful show!

Idk what's up with the haters! My husband and I saw there was a second season and were stoked! The sights are beautiful and the hosts are adorable. They seem genuine. As someone that travels every chance I get, I relate with their awe of the amazing places they go.

Really bad but also good

Really like the host Luis, he's down to earth and picks great luxury properties. The other presenters don't bring much to the show apart from the constant "omg" and "oh wowwwww" comments.

They also pick way too many properties in the USA for this to be the WORLDS most amazing vacation rentals.

Biggest annoyance is that the budget properties are still like $400 a night. How is that possibly budget?!

Would be better with Less talking

As a traveler, I really wanted to like this. Instead I find myself just fast forwarding and jotting down the spots they go to.

Maybe it would be more enjoyable if the 3 people were more relatable or less cookie-cutter "influencer". They all sound so scripted. And instead of just enjoying the locations, they talk A LOT. ...even talking during massages in Bali. Lol

5 stars because of the location selections and the excellent drone shots. Would be higher if they change up the travelers. Right now it just feels like you're listening to people reading a script and "acting" cool and relaxed.

Such a shame. Had potential.

Watch it on mute

They are so fake, pretentious and out of touch. Drinking at the luxury vila and saying 'enjoy simple things in life' while private chef prepares dinner...

Places they visit and people they meet are super nice. Visuals are also really good. But 3 of them are just too much.

We Loved this series

Loved the cast, loved the shows. We were sorry it had such a short series. The three hosts were a little quirky and we loved that too. I am hoping it gets picked up for season 2!

I Really Enjoyed This Show

I went into this show without any expectations, I just wanted to see some really cool places that I could potentially travel to and they delivered. Boy did they deliver. I really liked the concept of them having a theme for each episode and that each host was sharing a location at a different budget. I would have gone with the host Megan's choices for the most part because I am a budget traveler, but it was fun to see what else is out there if you are able to save up and spend more money.

After reading other reviews, I'm glad I watched the show before coming here because some of them are pretty harsh and I might have missed out on something I enjoyed had I let their opinions sway me. I honestly feel like I watched a completely different show than some of these people.

All that to say, it's a light hearted travel show with 3 hosts that have varied passions that they lightly share with the audience when exploring these beautiful locations. I enjoyed the chemistry of the hosts and I didn't mind their banter. I wasn't expecting them to be sharing expert facts, so maybe that's why I wasn't put off by the commentary. I also watch a lot of HGTV, DIY Network and the Travel channel so maybe I just have a natural inclination to this kind of television. I added a number of the places they shared to my travel list, so I got what I wanted out of the show.

I would totally watch another season.

One big ad

The scripting is juvenile and the hosts behave like a group of 13 year olds.
