Trivia

Pokémon : Arceus et le Joyau de vie

Edit
Vincent D'Onofrio was going to voice Arceus in the film.
Earned the Guinness World Record for most advanced ticket purchase for an animated motion picture, coming in at 2,384,198 tickets. This is the second time the Pokemon franchise has made it into the book.
The longest solar eclipse in the 21st century was visible from Japan just days after the premiere of this movie, which uses the astronomical event as a herald of Arceus's approach.
This is the last movie in the trilogy that started with Pokémon : L'Ascension de Darkrai (2007) and continued with Pokémon : Giratina et le Gardien du ciel (2008).
In the English language dub of the film, Arceus's line of "Prepare for Judgment!" as it uses Judgment is changed to "Prepare for justice!". This edit was very likely done to avoid a religious reference.
