This looks awesome and reminds me of teenagers' animated shows that were not edgy. The animation is kinda good not that much realistic but good and the overall background is super acceptable. The design is so cute I am in love with Lois.
The show is progressive towards Clarke's origins and Earth matters let's see how this show progresses because most shows in this modern world become dull in their initial runs.
Overall I say the show has his style, charisma, charm, and story and appeals to the audience, I always thought that DC is getting better in its animation line but now they reached a high level.
Thanks, Cartoon Network this time you bring something to watch and not destroy it.

Despite there being over 80 years of superman stories, this show seems determined to take a new spin on the beloved hero, and results in a fresh, colorful world for new and old superhero fans alike to take hold of. Without taking away from what makes Superman so very special. The Japanese/American art style is a breath of fresh air from the seemingly more rigid animation from the likes of Superman the animated series and that universe (even if it may not share the very same quality and love that those shows did). I couldn't quite tell what the age demographic for a show like this is, as it is made by adult swim, but the fun bright theme of the show should allow all ages to thoroughly enjoy this fun show.
My Adventures with Superman does an excellent job of inventing the Man of Steel for a new audience. The anime inspirations make it visually unique and give it the opportunity to design epic battles in an already detailed world. The redesigns of some popular villains were all fresh and creative, while still maintaining an air of familiarity. Given the short runtime and episode count, there isn't much time to breath or build on specific scenes, but with the time it has, the team behind it do a fantastic job at building on the relationships around Clark. The voice actors come together in a way that feels like they are in the room with you and their louder than life expressions and attitude blend perfectly with the dramatic anime styling. Between Superman & Lois, My Adventures with Superman, and the anticipation of Superman: Legacy, being a Superman fan has never been better!!
Although I can't say that I'm blown away by this series, but I most definitely disagree with the negative reviews. This show is just a pretty simple and fun entertainment. Perhaps it's a bit too childish for my grown-up tastes, but people tend to forget that not every superhero story needs to appeal to a "mature" audience. Most superheroes were made for kids, not grumpy adults! Plus, the show is not TOO childish, so even the adults (parents or grown-up Superman fans) may still find it to their liking.
It's been a long time since we had such a lighthearted story about Superman, since most of his recent movies/shows/videogames are pretty grim and turn him (or characters heavily inspired by him) into an antihero or even a villain. So I'm pleased to see the trend of "good guy Superman" making a return.

The first two episodes of My Adventures With Superman captures the essence of the iconic superhero with familiar but fresh takes on supporting characters like Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen.
Although we've seen Kal El's origin numerous times (most of which have been amazing) My Adventures With Superman manages to reveal bits and pieces of the origin story throughout the first two episodes in a way that leaves the door open for future exploration of Krypton. Instead of dreading another retelling of how he came to Earth I'm looking forward to finding out more because of the "mystery" behind what Jor-El left him.
Seeing Clark, Lois, and Jimmy Olsen at start of their Daily Planet career has been fun to watch thanks to incredible cast and writing. The humor is witty and I love the relationship the three of them share. It's much better than drama that usually rifts the three apart in other iterations.
Lastly, I appreciate what has been setup narratively. New antagonists have been introduced but classic DC villains are bound to show up.
There's a lot of potential to explore the more hopeful, bright, and optimistic sides of the Last Son of Krypton that fans haven't seen in awhile. Hopefully My Adventures with Superman can continue to deliver!

- TriviaCreators take inspiration on Superman (1978), particularly Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder's chemistry. "We loved their chemistry; we loved how smart and feisty Lois was, and loved the heart and altruism of Reeve's Superman / Clark Kent. The movie was clever, fun, and modernized Superman in a way that felt organic to the time period, while also respectful of what came before. It truly is one of our favorite pieces of Superman media."
