Fox Television Studios has inked a first-look deal with veteran TV and film producer Elizabeth Guber Stephen, who will develop and produce cable projects through her Gables Media banner. Under the deal, Stephen and FtvS have set two projects. One is hourlong USA drama series Timeline, from best-selling author Jennifer Lynn Barnes (Raised By Wolves book series), about a female astronaut who, upon returning to Earth from a six-month mission, discovers that someone has altered her past and, in effect, rewritten her entire life. Hollywood – Feb. 6, 2014 – Dolphin Films announced today that Ben Winchell (Disney’s “A.N.T. Farm,” “Necessary Roughness”) and Ana Villafañe (“Hiding,” “Los Americans”) have signed on to play the signature roles of Max McGrath™ and Sydney Gardner in “Max Steel,” the highly anticipated, live-action franchise feature film based on Mattel’s popular superhero property of the same name.

“Max Steel,” which is being produced by Dolphin Films and Mattel, is slated for a wide theatrical release by Open Road Films domestically and Im Global internationally in 2015. New York, Aug 18 (Ians/Efe) Andy Garcia feels it is his duty to support the young generation of Latino actors who are getting started in the film industry, a commitment that led him to produce the independent film 'Magic City Memoirs'.

The film will be shown this week at the New York International Latino Film Festival (Nyilff).

'For me, it's a duty and a privilege to transmit to the young generation the wisdom of someone who got it butting heads over the years and that relationship fills me with pride and stimulates me,' the Cuban-American said.
