Black Blooded Brides of Satan

Weird flick from Finland because I really can't file it under horror and still the last minutes it do offer some gore. But before the final you have to sit throughout a flick that is all about Satanism.

To be honest, I rather enjoyed it because it didn't had a problem with the score used. The flick is all about Northern Death Metal, so by saying that you know what you will have, anti-Christianity and of course the typical metal genre. people walking around in bondage style or with faces paint in white. Metalheads will know exactly what I mean and they do know that over there in the north there is an extreme genre were in real life churches have been burned down (Burzum) and members of a group have murdered each other (Dead, Mayhem,...).

And so we have to sit a lot of death metal score throughout this flick. We do see black masses with rape going on and in fact, video's being shot of so-called snuff flicks. Looks all promising but it's the wooden acting that tear this flick down. And really, it's only in the beginning that you will be satisfied and the last 10 minutes. In between it's all about satanism and listening to music. So if you're a metalhead go ahead, but for geeks of horror, I don't think it's going to be your snuff, I mean stuff.

This movie is about all the things that I love, like headbanging metal and Satanism.

You get to see some unholy satanic rituals and there is some magnificent Satanic imagery.

If you love watching people worship the devil, then this movie will fill your soul with blasphemy.

This is so bad for so many reasons, bad acting...no. Extremely bad acting and someone should stab the sound engineer cause D*MN the sound is lousy.

One extremely irritating thing is that the characters switches from Swedish to Finnish and while it sounds bad in Finnish, the characters sound like they are part of a Walt Disney Mickey Mouse movie when they try to speak Swedish. Their Finnish dialect breaks through and it fails. Miserably.

Regarding the story, it's as thin as silk and full of holes, but the worst part is that it does not make the characters come to life, no background story, just stupid arguments without any form of explanation and you don't give a sh*t about what happens.

It seems that the only point in making this movie was to let a bunch of obese people run around with fake blood and ugly tattoos while imagining that they somehow, in stark contrast to reality, were making a movie worth viewing.

In utter words, this is one of the WORST films ever made and it makes all of Uwe Boll's movies look like Academy Awards masterpieces.
