Chad Michael Murray please retire.
There are ameoba on Saturn that have more screen chemistry than you.
Another terrible performance in another crap film.

The first movie was terrible, when they announced they wanted to make a trilogy I laughed and assumed they had no chance especially with Bruce Willis announcing his retirement. Yet somehow here we are, a movie released a month or two after Willis retired. Same low budget, fishy acting, embarrassing script and woeful plot. I had to really motivate myself to see Willis penultimate movie because he was always one of my favourite actors but god this was a struggle to get through. Suggest you don't waste your time because it's so bad it's not even funny.
If you thought the first one was bad, that one is Oscar worthy compared to this mess. This is the worst directing I have ever seen. Josh Sternfeld just kept filming ridiculous long dragged out and unnecessary scenes, of which at least half the length of the entire film needed to be cut out. His filming of the action scenes was so bad, when all you saw was two pairs of legs tripping over each other or a bunch of hands flailing around. Was this even edited, or the entire filmed scenes all pieced together uncut?
But even worse, was the most ridiculous screenplay I have ever seen. Alan Horsnail wrote in the laziest and cheesiest dialogue I have ever heard. The story was such utter nonsense, cliched and boring. It was riddled with plot and technical issues. Ninety percent of the entire 97 min runtime was all useless filler and irrelevant dialogue and scenes.
The pacing was so bad, the film felt like it was more than three hours long, and you'll end up begging for the ending credits. Who even funds and approves this nonsense? Even Kelly Greyson's Daisy Duke outfit was so cheese and out of place, we couldn't stop laughing. If it was meant to be a pleasant eye-candy distraction from how horrible this film was, it didn't work, it just added more cringe to the mess.
Casting and performances were adequate by most - including Bruce who was on par with the rest, except for Chad Michael Murray's annoying character, that made me want to fast-forward all his scenes. But I'm sure at least half the blame goes to Sternfeld, who clearly failed in directing his cast. The only redeeming quality of this film was the bearable score - which usually is annoyingly overbearing, constant, and unfitting. It's a very generous 2/10 from me, and I do mean generous.

Well, the 2021 movie "Fortress" wasn't particularly impressive, so it was with some hesitation that I sat down to watch the 2022 movie "Fortress: Sniper's Eye". And truth be told, I wasn't harboring much of any expectations to the movie from writers Randall Emmett, Emile Hirsch and Alan Horsnail, since a lot, and I do mean a lot, of the recent Bruce Willis movies have been dubious at best.
Yet, I opted to give director Josh Sternfeld's 2022 movie "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" a chance, as I do believe all movies need a fair chance. But the movie was actually as I had anticipated, nay, it was actually worse than anticipated. While the 2021 movie "Fortress" was pretty bad, then the 2022 movie "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" was even worse.
Talk about a swing and a miss of a storyline from writers Randall Emmett, Emile Hirsch and Alan Horsnail. Not only does the mundane and boring characters from the 2021 movie carry on in the 2022 movie, but without any improvement. The character gallery in "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" is insanely boring and mundane, and I just simply didn't care one ounce about these mundane and pointless characters that milled about on the screen.
And that made the laughably bad storyline even more difficult to get into. Not only was the storyline here in "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" rubbish, but the lack of interesting characters or dialogue just simply made it nearly unbearable to watch.
Even with the likes of Bruce Willis, Chad Michael Murray and Jesse Metcalfe on the cast list, "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" just simply stood a snowball's chance in hell of being an entertaining movie.
Sure, if you enjoyed the 2021 movie "Fortress", then you might find something entertaining in the 2022 movie "Fortress: Sniper's Eye". But I wouldn't go betting on it. "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" is not a movie that I would recommend you waste your time, money or effort on.
My rating of "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" lands on a two out of ten stars. It just simply was rubbish.

I don't understand why half of the movie they show scenes from the first movie and talk about what happened in the first movie, As if whoever sees the sequel didn't watch the first movie. It's simply unnecessary.
