With soaring real estate costs and student debt piling high the reality of 40 Year Old Property Virgin is one that resonates with many of the younger generations. The editing of the show combines mockumentary cinematography with the sweeping home shots and format we are familiar with on HGTV. 40 Year old Property Virgin manages to make each buyer stand out from another where we see jokes and personalities shine through the home buying experience. This, in my opinion, is due to the larger amount of interviews alongside the more interesting comments that are kept while touring the properties. While the "gimmick" of parents being involved are sometimes overbearing, I would like to see this show go further with it's different style in comparison to popular shows within the genre. I have a feeling this series was specifically meant to draw younger (millennial?) viewers into HGTV's audience with the viewer both vicariously living through the show and enjoying the familiar mockumentary like filming style. Overall was a good watch and humorous.

I am in my 40s and i am looking for a new home, therefore, i enjoyed every single episode of this!
