It's vampires on a plane in the first trailer for Netflix's upcoming suspense movie, Blood Red Sky, which finds a woman with a mysterious illness who must fight to protect her son when terrorists take over her plane. Of course, because this is a high-concept horror movie, the illness can only be vampirism of zombie-infection, thankfully (?) it's the former, with the woman unleashing the inner monster she has fought to hide.

The deliciously high concept behind Blood Red Sky should help take cinematic vampires to dizzying new heights, with the vampire on a plane no doubt causing all manner of bloodshed and chaos at 30,000 feet. The claustrophobia of the cabin is presented well in the footage, as we feel the walls closing in on the kidnapped passengers. Of course, this will take a violent turn of a different nature when the vampire is released, quickly turning the terrorists from predators into prey.

"Something strange is going on at our house..." Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for The House of Flowers: The Movie, also known as La Casa De Las Flores: La Pelicula in Spanish, from filmmaker Manolo Caro. This is a continuation of the Netflix series and the first "movie" based on the "The House of Flowers" show, created by Manolo Caro who also directs this film. The members of the De la Mora family return home, well... former Casa de las Flores, with one single purpose: to fulfill Delia's last wish and seek revenge against Agustín. And although neither Paulina nor Virginia claim to have any memory of this, it will take a journey back in time to avenge Pato's death. This stars Cecilia Suárez, Aislinn Derbez, Dario Yazbek, Juan Pablo Medina, and Paco León. This is pretty much a contemporary Mexican soap opera movie, with all the usual family...

You know what everyone could use in the sweltering summer months? A nice, cold glass of…anime. At least that’s the particular theme that comes up in Netflix’s list of new releases for June 2021.

Netflix has been quietly expanding their anime offerings for awhile now but June is a particularly anime-heavy month. The absolutely metal sounding Record of Ragnarok arrives this month. So too do parts 1 and 2 of the newest Sailor Moon film on June 3 and Godzilla Singular Point on June 24.
