More Than Blue is a devastating love story about K, a radio producer, and Cream, a lyricist, who live together and share a deep, unspoken love for each other. However, K is terminally ill and decides to hide his illness from Cream, believing she deserves someone healthy to spend her life with. Instead of confessing his love, K tries to set her up with another man, hoping to ensure she has someone to care for her after he's gone. The film is filled with emotional moments as K sacrifices his happiness for Cream's future.
The ending is undeniably heartbreaking. K passes away alone, never having told Cream the truth about his feelings or his illness. After his death, Cream discovers K's love for her and the sacrifices he made, leaving her devastated by the loss of the one person she truly loved. The film's tragic conclusion, where love is left unspoken and unrealized, leaves viewers in tears, as the missed opportunities and heartache resonate deeply. More Than Blue explores the idea that love sometimes means letting go, even when it causes immense personal pain.

Two thirds of the scenes takes place at restaurants. I cannot stand watching people eat for almost two hours. It is annoying as hell! The obsession with eating is pissing me of. Ruining what could otherwise be a somewhat solid movie. The actors did not impress me at all either as most of them felt somewhat unrealistic and one dimensional. In real life, I would not enjoy their company.
I would definitely not recommend this movie. Not as a fan of sad romantic movies nor a fan of Korean movies. Far more better flicks exists in either genre with the only lasting impression with this one being a total waste of potential.
I enjoyed the thought of the story more than the execution in the movie itself. The synopsis was the best part of it, and please, put that cookie down!!

This movie starts out a little slow and has some unnecessary scenes, and one might wonder if the payoff will be there at the end. Yes, it is definitely worth it once you get through the first half.
Awesome movie, but very sad. A couple big twists at the end. Even though this one isn't as big of a tear-jerker as some of the other Korean love stories, it is simultaneously, some how, even more sad than many of the others. Be ready to have your heart ripped out.

Wow what a powerful and touching movie is this
Loved it even though it has that soapy goodness and lil bit of cheesiness to it but I'd be scolding myself for saying that coz yeah all romantic movies have a lil bit of cheesiness in 'em
The plot is detailed There are dialogues that are so touching and clever and can be used as quotes My fav one is 'if you need words then how can mutes love?' Also Wonderful scores The movie is slowpaced but intriguing and attractive throughout Kwan Sang-Woo is the heart of the movie (a lil bit more than the female lead Lee Bo-young...who is also phenomenal) I felt so attached to the character K coz of him There is a scene where he totally breaks down and time froze....instead of crying along with him I was relieved and satisfied and cheering him for letting all that holded up emotions
It felt really heavy at the end but preidctable but who cares the movie ended on a sad yet happy note in my opinion
Absolutely loved that last scene Time once again froze and I had goosebumps all over my body
A must watch for korean romantic drama lovers (imo) Definitely adding this to my fav romantic movies of all time.
