Excellent show except for music and sound

This show captures your attention from the first episode. The acting and writing are both strong and it is exciting to watch a historical show. But the sound effects and music are horrible. They are loud and jarring like in TV commercials and they take your attention away from the action. Also while they have beautiful period costumes and sets, the music is modern. It should be music from the time period. And the sound person should have realized that sound effects are supposed to help the show, not overpower it and jar the viewer. I've watched about eight episodes, but don't know if I'll keep watching.

Great Story - Unrealistic Series

I have now watched 1/2 of this series and will continue to watch the other 1/2 because the story is compelling , the acting is first rate and period locations good. Unfortunately the details are unrealistic - in no army 200 or 2000 years ago would a subordinate officer report to his father - for starters, for a full Colonel to command a brigade of 20 soldiers or less is nuts, I have never seen so many women have sex fully clothed - it is almost like the series was shot under the watchful eye of the Vatican, and topless men is the extent of the advertised nudity , but most of all - Caroline's reason for being a spy changed and she submitted to being raped by her loathsome man she agreed to marry for a cause she didn't sign up for and reject the man she was in love with - that is the ultimate of non sense - any women that would do that would be put in a padded room and get professional care.

What one thing did multiple actors have in common?

Amazing series. I really enjoy Spanish programming versus American. I appreciate subtitles instead of dubbing. One can really pick up on the language by just listening.

The series is a long one but well worth watching to the end. Very exciting. I wish Spanish actors would also act in the US. We could use some better actors in American programming.

The acting in this series was phenomenal. I liked Federico the best. Bravo Federico.

I'm concerned though. Is the red dot in eyes a common thing for Spanish people? I saw multiple actors with the same red dot in the whites of their eyes.

In Hollywood we have the black-eye club. Is this the Spanish version?

Great series, great performance

Worth watching. One of the best series produced in Spanish). A must see production where Locations transported you to the years when America claimed for independence from Spain.

The production was perfect, very well performance achieved by actors.

It notes the actions from Kings of Spain to take valuable possessions.

The Villamizar performance was perfect.

Worth watching. One of the best series produced in Spanish). A must see production where Locations transported you to the years when America screamed for independence from Spain.

Congratulations for Caracol productions. One os your best series.
