🔥Breaking the ceiling: Jandae Percem .. Turkey's first female action

Interesting blend of genres (action, sci-fi, drama).

Solid, credible acting, with stellar performances all around...

Cinematography was excellent.

Lower budget may have held it back a tad vs Marvel action heroes. Cool special effects nevertheless.

Anticipation and confusion was my general state of mind throughout, which was absolutely necessary for this film...but the surprising ending was a perfect way to drain the suspense. The music was great too, and helped steer the emotions.

The movie left me wanting to know more about the back story, hence my general confused state throughout. But I'm guessing this leaves it open for a sequel or a prequel.

I have never seen a Turkish film (or a Middle Eastern one) with a female action star... so I hope this trend continues. Kudos for going against the grain in a male-dominated culture. As an Executive Producer, this is my first time watching the finished product... but my 8/10 score is unbiased. I would have put 7 if produced in Hollywood, but this is a Turkish film.
