Since its launch, Disney+ has become one of the biggest streaming platforms out there. Disney+ launched on November 12, 2019, wherein it was rolled out globally over the course of two years. Disney has been deleting more of its self-made shows and films from the Disney+ streaming service, attracting more ‘content impairment charges’.

It’s been about 18 months since we first had to learn what the term ‘content impairment charge’ meant, as Disney spent around $2bn to delete films and TV shows from its Disney+ streaming service. These weren’t shows and movies it bought it. Rather, it was productions it made itself, but by deleting them, it could save money on ongoing residuals and such like.

Yep, it’s cheaper not to show you things long term, even if you paid for them in the first place.

Expect to hear some familiar voices on “Everybody Still Hates Chris,” Comedy Central’s upcoming animated take on the hit 2000s live action comedy “Everybody Hates Chris.” That includes star and executive producer Chris Rock, who narrated the original series and will do the same in the new version.

Also back are original stars Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold, who played Chris’ parents in the original series and will voice them in the animated edition. New cast members include Tim Johnson Jr., Ozioma Akagha, Terrence Little Gardenhigh and Gunnar Sizemore.

“Everybody Still Hates Chris” was first announced in August 2022. CBS Studios, Chris Rock Enterprises and 3 Arts Entertainment are behind the half-hour animated series, which premieres on Comedy Central later this year. (It will also air on Paramount+ at a later date.)

“I’m very excited to introduce the world to another funny side of my childhood,” Rock said in a statement.

“Zoey 102,” Paramount+’s sequel movie to “Zoey 101,” will be available to watch on Thursday, July 27. The premiere date was released as part of a new trailer for the upcoming project.

Jamie Lynn Spears is hitting fans of Zoey 101 right in the feels.

This week, the actress took to Instagram to share photos from behind the scenes of Zoey 102, the highly-anticipated follow-up movie.

The project is set to launch on Paramount+ at some point in 2023, so the only teasers we're getting for the project so far are photos from the set.

Spears, who reprises the Zoey Brooks role she played from 2005-2008, shared a caption alongside the latest batch of photos.

"Bittersweet feels," Spears shared in the post.

On the heels of the latest Marvel premiere and “Wakanda Forever” breaking records for Disney+, the streamer switches gears for the month of March to a galaxy far, far away. That’s right: It’s Star Wars season on streaming, with more new episodes of “The Bad Batch” as well as the long-anticipated Season 3 premiere of “The Mandalorian.”

Season 3 picks up with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his adorable charge Grogu, who shared an emotional goodbye at the end of Season 2 but reunited in “The Book of Boba Fett.” Din sets out to unlock the secrets of Mandalore, including his possession of the Dark Saber and its complicated connections to the family of Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff). None of this would have fazed Din a short time ago, when he was a ruthless bounty hunter who adopted Mandalorian traditions, but now he has someone to protect — and the power of the Force at his side.

Secrets of Sulphur Springs has a return date. Season three of the time-travel mystery series will premiere on Friday, March 24th, on Disney Channel and it will be joined by the premiere of Saturdays – a new coming-of-age comedy series.

Starring Preston Oliver, Kyliegh Curran, Elle Graham, Kelly Frye, Landon Gordon, Madeleine McGraw, and Diandra Lyle. Johari Washington, Ethan Hutchison, Eugene Byrd, and Kenneisha Thompson, Secrets of Sulphur Springs follows the adventures of a boy and his friends as they uncover the mysteries of the haunted hotel where he lives.

Louis Tomlinson has a new album on the way. On Sept. 1, the 30-year-old former One Direction singer released "Bigger Than Me," the debut single off his forthcoming sophomore solo LP, "Faith in the Future."

Tomlinson announced the album the day before the single's release on Twitter. "Thank you for allowing me to make the music I want to make," he wrote alongside the announcement. He also shared the album's release date and its 14-song tracklist.
