The Killer in My Backyard

Kind of violent LMN entry into the Thursday night lineup - in some parts it was darn right scary!

After watching this, I learned that:

1. You should not buy a house too soon after the previous owner has died (not because a ghost haunting the place).

2. A man who has a good build will ridiculously rip off his athletic tee when he is angered.

3. Kristos Andrews plays the killer/psycho very well.

4. A frying pan can be used as a deadly weapon.

5. Brittany Underwood can really play a TOUGH lady (remembering "Secrets in the Woods).

6/10.

If anything can be learned from this, its that you probably shouldn't rent out a guesthouse of a house you have just moved into, and for a seeminly over eager man without doing a background check, and without consulting your fiancee first. Yet here we are. Eric and allyson are the unlucky couple. You can see josh is untrustworthy from the beginning and has a semi strange obsesion with erics asistant. The plot is predictable in places but atleast the acting was not to terrible in this and was passable. But the plot itself and how it unfolds until the end was overall just a bit boring but worth a watch still.

The acting is not so bad as a producing and the screen play ...dont waste ur time...the only good thing they did in the movie was the trailer and the rest is history.

The progression throughout the story line was unrealistic. The acting was horrible, especially from the lead male. His line delivery most of the time had no emotion and fell short. The lead female's sister probably was the best actress out of the entire cast. Some scenes were unnecessary and didnt make sense.

....they'd rush round with the sirens blaring.

This was the point at which I couldn't take any more and stopped watching - I was already at the end of my tether for all the reasons listed by other reviewers. From what I'm gathering I made the correct decision.

Apparently I need another 300 odd characters before I can submit, so I may as well continue - the cardboard characters, the unrealistic scenario that the husband would just let the guesthouse out to a stranger on a whim because he seemed OK, without references or even speaking to his wife first, even though it's a jointly owned property - I dread to think how much worse the decision making from the "protagonists" became - it usually ends up with one or both of them going to an isolated place alone to confront the dangerous killer.
