Morgan Ahmed Morgan is one of the best comedies I've ever watched. Even after more than 15 years since its release, the movie still holds a special charm that keeps me laughing every time I see a clip from it. The humor is timeless, and the performances, especially by Adel Imam, are unforgettable. It's a perfect blend of clever writing, hilarious moments, and a satirical take on society. This film truly stands out as a classic in the world of Arabic cinema and continues to bring joy to audiences across generations.
The movie's ability to combine comedy with a meaningful message is remarkable, making it both entertaining and thought-provoking. Its characters are well-crafted, and the storyline remains engaging from start to finish.

This was my first Egyptian movie, and then in Arabic without subtitles...
For me as a European former university student, it was quite interesting to see the experiences (often amounting to culture shocks) an older (and not very literate) Egyptian makes with student life there, as well as jokes about the electoral battlefield, life in parliament, islamists, and much more.
I liked it quite much, especially the versatility of Adel Imam's expressions. I had some associations with Harold Lloyd's Freshman (who was never seen in a classroom - but compare the football/soccer games...), and Mr Bean at the exams.
Laugh-out-loud: Morgan's fist-fighting disco dance.

- GoofsMorgan tells his secretary that his daughter Alyaa was born in Jordan and named her after the Queen who died in 1977. Which means that his daughter should be 30 years old as of 2007 and not a university freshman.
