Wednesday star Emma Myers has shared her excitement for the highly-anticipated second season of the hit Netflix series. Myers will be reprising her role as teen werewolf Enid Sinclair, who was introduced as the titular character’s roommate and eventual best friend at Nevermore Academy.

During a recent interview with Screen Rant, Myers opened up about what fans can expect from Wednesday Season 2, teasing the fun Easter eggs that will be featured in the new episodes. She also assured fans that they would be pleased with each character’s development in the next installment. "I like Season 2 better than Season 1, honestly. I think there's a lot of cool little Easter eggs,” she revealed. “I think everybody's characters in this next season... I think people are gonna be happy with the development. Netflix is once again teaming up with director Janeen Damian and actress Miranda Cosgrove for a second romantic comedy film, The Wrong Paris. Filming took place in the second half of 2024, and the film will be released on Netflix sometime in 2025. Here’s everything we know about The Wrong Paris on Netflix.

This marks Janeen Damian’s third major movie for Netflix, having previously directed Lindsay Lohan’s significant return to acting via Netflix with Falling for Christmas and Irish Wish. Exclusive: Lionsgate has picked up Rager, an adult comedy from Imagine Entertainment, which Jon Kasdan (Solo: A Star Wars Story) will direct from his script written with Emmy nominee Dan Klein.

While plot details are under wraps, we hear the film is in the spirit of The Hangover. Imagine developed the script with Kasdan and Klein and sold it on spec. Producers will include Brian Grazer, Jeb Brody, and Allan Mandelbaum, with Justin Wilkes exec producing.

In addition to co-writing Solo: A Star Wars Story, which Imagine Entertainment principal Ron Howard directed for Disney/Lucasfilm, Kasdan is known for writing and showrunning Disney+’s Willow, co-produced by Imagine. Netflix and the BBC are continuing the adventures of Pip Fitz-Amobi. “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” scored a Season 2 renewal at the streaming giant.

A six-episode second season is set to film in the U.K. in 2025. The series will be produced by Moonage Pictures, which previously worked on “The Gentlemen,” “The Famous Five” and “Bodies,” for BBC iPlayer as well as BBC Three in co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo. This upcoming installment will premiere on Netflix globally everywhere save the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Australia and New Zealand. It will premiere in the U.K. and Ireland on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.

Poppy Cogan, who previously adapted Season 1 from the novel of the same name, will return to write Season 2 alongside author Holly Jackson. Additionally, series star Emma Myers will reprise her role as Pip Fitz-Amobi, and Zain Iqbal (“All Crazy Random”) will return as Ravi Singh.

Netflix today announced that A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has been renewed for a second season and will premiere the series globally, excluding the UK/Ireland, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. It will premiere in the UK and Ireland on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.

Produced by Moonage Pictures for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three in co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo, the new six-part series will film in the UK in 2025. The series is based on the hugely successful New York Times bestselling mystery young adult novels by Holly Jackson.

Nick Pasqual, a background actor in “How I Met Your Mother,” was detained at the U.S. border after being charged with allegedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend, makeup artist Allie Shehorn, multiple times, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office confirmed.

On May 23 around 4:30 a.m., Pasqual allegedly broke into Shehorn’s Los Angeles home and stabbed her multiple times. She was then hospitalized with critical injuries. Shehorn’s credits include “Rebel Moon,” “Family Switch” and “Babylon.”

After the attack, Pasqual allegedly fled the scene and was later detained at a U.S./Mexico border check point in Sierra Blanca, Texas. The court issued an $1.07 million arrest warrant for the actor. He will be extradited to Los Angeles County where he will face charges. If he is convicted as charged, the maximum sentence would be life in state prison.

Netflix today announced that it will premiere A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder later this year in its markets worldwide, including the U.S. The BBC commissioned the series, which will first premiere in the UK and Ireland on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is produced by Moonage Pictures, one of BBC Studios’ invested production labels. It is co-produced with ZDFneo and Netflix.

Poppy Cogan adapted the six-episode season, which is currently in post-production, and Dolly Wells directed it. A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is based on the hugely successful New York Times bestselling mystery YA novel by Holly Jackson.

The actress, who was married to the Oscar-winning filmmaker for 13 years, is in negotiations to star opposite Matt Damon in Animals, a crime thriller set up at Netflix.

Affleck is directing the feature and is also producing with Damon via their Artists Equity banner, along with the company’s Dani Bernfeld. Also producing are Brad Weston and Collin Creighton via their MakeReady shingle.

Pieces are still being put together, including Garner’s deal, but if it all fits, the thriller could be before cameras in Los Angeles starting March.
