Yet again another program, that I like, deleted without much of a chance given to gain an audience. Big surprise. Why don't we just put on massive amounts of "reality?" and other totally useless garbage shows, instead of nurturing the kind of "acting" series that might make us think once in awhile. Oh, I forgot, that's what they're trying to do now. My mistake. So many decently written and acted series have fallen by the wayside in the past years, to be replaced by these other mindless exploitation shows. It's really a shame. I guess as long as there are people wanting to see these other types, good shows like "the forgotten","Jericho", etc., don't stand a chance. Thank goodness for rentals, I guess.

I loved this show. It was original, well acted and brought to light victims we don't think of..Jane/John Does. Unsolved cases where the loved ones never have a chance to find out what has happened because there usually isn't enough time/money for the police force to follow up on finding the identities of these unclaimed bodies. It was at times dark, at times very funny, but always interesting and I just can't understand why it was canceled. I have always loved Christian Slater, he was one of the reasons I tuned in to the first episode and got totally hooked. Add Jerry Bruckheimer to the mix (CSI) and I knew it had to be good. For those that like CSI, NCIS, it's cancellation was a big mistake and a loss. Shame on the network for not realizing this was a gem of a show. If they have any smarts, they will reconsider and bring it back as a mid-season replacement.
I LOVED this show & I'm sick that ABC canceled it before it even had a chance. It was a unique idea that had real merit because it brought to light a situation that really exists and gave much needed publicity to the network that helps solve the problem. I have actually looked into how close the nearest network was & whether I have any talents that would be useful to them. The show had also started some very interesting discussions with my 13 year old that we might not have had without the show! At that age is doesn't occur to them that someone could die unidentified & unclaimed. We have also discussed how driven a parent could be to find a missing child &th until there's proof, you can't stop looking. Boo hiss to ABC!

I am stating my opinion as to wondering why they took the forgotten off the air. I am beyond angry for doing such a stupid move! I want them to bring back the forgotten with the same actors and actresses. This is one of the best shows that I've watched since Jaws. So now my question is, "When are they going to bring back the forgotten?" Christian Slater is one of my favorite actors and I would love to meet him in person so that I could let him know personally. The other characters in the forgotten was also amazing people as they are a team. You do not want to break up a team! Just please, who ever decided to take this show off the air made the biggest mistake ever! Bring back this show and bring back the team! By Diana LaCroix in Omaha, Nebraska

REALLY good show! Even overlooked it myself at first. Wanted to see it when it first came out, but it was on opposite one of my faves. Now, I usually watch this. If I can't catch it, I make SURE to dvr it!!!! All of the stories and actors are great in it! I have always been a fan of Christian Slater, and the other actor are up to his caliber. Elisha Cuthbert is a new and welcome addition! The story lines are very different from all the other detective shows. Instead of focusing on the criminal, this show focuses on the victim. It's all about identifying the "John Does" and "Jane Does" of this country. It focuses on putting some closure for some families out there. How many families a year have loved ones missing out there, when there are plenty of "Does" in our morgues and cemeteries? A much welcome and fresh new take on the "detective" genre. To the network,PLEASE keep it on the air!
