Nice but as the French say: "Peut faire mieux".

The story is beautiful and emotional, the characters are sympathetic but the script loses its way, reaching the final scenes without a logical transition. However, it has some great scenes of the cooking classes and the actors are believable for the most part, especially the migrants from the home.

Film in the tradition of French films of good feelings and overcoming in a migrants' home, which pick up a lot of situations. It abuses some clichés and does not fully exploit the richness of the characters and their stories, which are glimpsed in the conversations but then remain without continuity.

As the French say: "Peut faire mieux".

It was released in 24 countries during 2022 and 2023, including in the United Kingdom in December 2022 and as a Samuel Goldwyn Films limited release in the U.S. in January 2023.
