The Saviors

The 8 best (and 6 worst) characters in The Walking Dead
Image
When you're on the air for 11 seasons, people are going to feel some kind of way about your show. There's no clearer example of that than The Walking Dead. AMC's legendary series based on Robert Kirkman's eponymous graphic novel series gripped audiences throughout its decade-long run, making them love, hate, cry, laugh, revolt, and appreciate everything that went down in the post-apocalyptic world. But nothing made them feel more than the characters.

The characters are the lifeblood of The Walking Dead and its many, many spinoffs. Whether it's a noble hero who just wants to do everything they can do ensure that their loved ones survive, or a heinous villain hellbent on exact the most callous kind of revenge, the personalities that popped up throughout the Twd Universe were capable of making us feel all of the feels.

That's still incredibly clear in the Twd Universe spinoffs of today,...

Hellboy Star Ron Perlman Has New Horror Movie Role With Dexter Favorite
Image
Hellboy's Ron Perlman is heading back to a familiar genre in the horror comedy Horrified. He joins an impressive cast that also includes Dexter alum Julie Benz and Mean Girls star Busy Philipps.

Deadline reports that Benz plays a horror genre icon who decides to hit the convention circuit in order to make some quick money. However, the one-time scream queen will unexpectedly find herself and her fans terrorized by a serial killer wearing the same grotesque pig mask from her movies.

Horrified will be the feature directorial debut for filmmaker Michael Zara, who has also penned the screenplay. Zara got his start as a staff writer and story editor for three seasons on the TNT drama series Major Crimes. He previously delved into the horror genre for the Syfy original movie Letters to Satan Claus, about a journalist (played by Wynonna Earp: Vengeance actor Karen Knox) whose return...

The Walking Dead: Dead City season 2 makes one major change from season 1
Image
It's almost time for us to return to the world of The Walking Dead once again. What once was a lengthy 16-episode annual trip into an alternate world full of apocalyptic threats has now become two or three shorter annual trips instead. The end of AMC's The Walking Dead in 2022 has paved the way for multiple focused spinoffs to continue telling some of the main characters' stories.

The first of those new stories was The Walking Dead: Dead City, which brought back Twd veterans Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as their respective characters of Maggie and Negan. The two rivals ventured into Manhattan to retrieve Maggie's son Hershel from one of Negan's old friends, and the adventure left things on a cliffhanger, which confirmed more stories were on the way.

Season 2 of Dead City is almost upon us, and it will feature quite the significant change - or...

Glenn Rhee's Death On The Walking Dead, Explained
Image
"The Walking Dead" may be over, but it's not really over. After 11 seasons, AMC's adaptation of Robert Kirkman's beloved comic book series of the same name reached its conclusion in 2022. The franchise lives on through its various spin-off shows, including "Dead City" and "The Ones Who Live."

Through nearly 200 episodes, fans experienced the zombie apocalypse more thoroughly than any one movie could ever provide. There were high highs and there were low lows. There were also quite a few deaths along the way. We are dealing with zombies, after all. But no death in the history of "The Walking Dead" was as upsetting as Glenn Rhee's. Played by Steven Yeun, the fan-favorite character met a grizzly demise at an unexpected point in the show's run. Years later, it remains a point of contention so far as the show's legacy is concerned.

So, what happened to Glenn, exactly?...
