Better Man

Factual errors

In real life, Robbie Williams' shows at Knebworth happened in 2003, while his Royal Albert Hall appearance was two years earlier, in 2001.
Robbie Williams did sing "My Way" during the Royal Albert Hall show, but without his father on stage with him.
Nicole Appleton met Robbie Williams while filming Top of the Pops, on 7 December 1997, not during a masquerade ball on a boat on New Year's Eve.

Anachronisms

The movie shows the death of Robbie's grandmother, Robbie shaving his head, and Robbie singing Angels for the first time, as happening in the mid-2000s. All of those things happened in the late 90s and were the catalyst of his resurgence.
Despite many things being geographically accurate, including the expensive shoot in London, random things are completely American. The billboard Robbie and Jake sit on, some road markings and signs, set-top TV aerials, and several other items are entirely American and completely out of place in the UK.
