Leading lady Zoë Kravitz has had our attention for years now. Whether she's captivating audiences on the big screen - like as Catwoman in 2022's "The Batman," opposite Robert Pattinson's titular character - or piquing interest with her personal life, fans have always been a bit curious about what's going on in Kravitz's world. Her relationship with Channing Tatum has fans tuned in, and this naturally led some to wonder about the rest of Kravitz's love life.
When her movie with Pattinson came out, many quickly hopped on the Kravitz-Pattinson fan ship. Alas, the actors didn't have romantic chemistry off set, although it wouldn't have been Kravitz's first time getting cozy with a costar.
Earlier in her career, Kravitz was rumored to be romantically linked to her "Beware the Gonzo" costar Ezra Miller, per the New York Daily News. However, it was never confirmed by Kravitz or Miller whether...

Ezra Miller, who starred in the adaptation of Perks of Being a Wallflower, has been cast as the lead in DC Comics' forthcoming The Flash movie.
Ezra Miller Lands 'The Flash' Role
Warner Bros. chairman Kevin Tsujihara announced that they’d be making a feature film about The Flash during Time Warner’s earnings meeting Wednesday, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Tsujihara also announced that Miller had landed the part of the DC Comics superhero. The movie is set to hit theaters in 2018.
Flash is the superhero alter ego of Barry Allen, a young man who has both super speed and reflexes. As a member of the Justice League it stands to reason that Miller will also be appearing in some of the upcoming Justice League movies, the first of which is slated to come out in 2017.

Just one small part of Warner Bros.' massive announcement today that laid out their DC Comics movie slate was the news that Ezra Miller will play Barry Allen in The Flash, debuting in 2018. The actor will likely have a cameo appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, where the entire Justice League team will presumably be revealed for the first time.
The Flash doesn't have a writer or director attached at this time, but it will occupy one of two 2018 release dates (March 23, 2018 or July 27, 2018) that Warner Bros. set in August, with Jason Momoa's Aquaman movie taking the other slot. Ironically, the news comes just one week after The Flash TV series debuted on The CW, starring Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, but the show will have no connection to this burgeoning movie universe.

Actor Ezra Miller is laying on a king-sized bed -- puffy white comforter over half his body, shirt unbuttoned, Sigur Ros playing on his iPod dock -- waxing poetic about the fact that he's conducting all of his interviews in promotion for his latest film, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” from the comfort of his own mattress. “If we could bring more beds to conflict zones, it could be very effective,” he says. On one hand, it's easy to dismiss the 19-year-old Miller as a wannabe “artiste,” one who looks to inspire as he touts a quasi-philosophical narrative. On the other hand, he's someone to be completely admired: an enlightened star in the making, talented enough to play both a haunted high schooler who commits a massacre (“We Need to Talk About Kevin”) and an animated gay teenager who has the courage to be himself (“Perks”). Either way, Miller demands your attention,...

Zoe Kravitz is certainly on her way to becoming the new Hollywood “It” girl. Her film Yelling To The Sky, a film given much coverage here at S&A, is out on the festival circuit now and X-Men: First Class is slated to come out this summer.
Another film she’s adding to that growing resume is Beware The Gonzo, a teenage comedy.
The film, written and directed by Bryan Gobuloff (screenwriter for The Basketball Diaries), follows several high school misfits as they run an underground newspaper. It stars Jesse McCartney, Zoe Kravitz, Campbell Scott, Amy Sedaris, Ezra Miller, Juda Friedlander and Marc John Jefferies.
Tribeca Film Releasing recently acquired the film and it’s set for a theatrical/VOD release sometime this year.
Although an official trailer hasn’t been released, below is a clip from the film.

Over the weekend I was fortunate enough to catch a couple of Tribeca Film Festival screenings. I didn't attend as press and so have no "official" reviews to file, but this blog grows out of the experiences of its contributors, and my two screenings were definitely an experience.
On Saturday afternoon I checked out "Beware the Gonzo," from "The Basketball Diaries" scribe Bryan Goluboff. In addition to penning the script, Goluboff also makes his directorial debut with "Gonzo." He assembled a talented cast of young actors for the film, including Jesse McCartney, Zoe Kravitz (yes, the daughter of Lenny) and Ezra Miller, who was great in "City Island" and is great once again in "Gonzo" as a young Hunter S. Thompson wannabe. That's not even mentioning an adult cast that includes Campbell Scott, Amy Sedaris, James Urbaniak and Judah Friedlander.

The Gonzo we are cautioned about in Beware the Gonzo is Eddie "Gonzo" Gilman, an intense prep-academy student who believes his school newspaper can right wrongs and fight injustice. It can't, really, but he's not the first student journalist to suffer from a surplus of idealism. He might be the first to single-handedly bring down a school cafeteria, though.
Gonzo is played by Ezra Miller, who looks like a Justin Long-Jimmy Fallon hybrid and has a smirking delivery reminiscent of Christian Slater in Heathers. A senior at Parker Prep, Gonzo intends to study journalism at Columbia next year, but he's been beaten for the editor-in-chief position at the Parker Courier by Gavin Reilly (Jesse McCartney), a smug golden boy who excels at sports, academics, and date rape. When Reilly kills a story Gonzo wrote about bullying to protect his athlete buddies, Gonzo does what outraged high-school journalists have...

Title: Beware The Gonzo Directed By: Bryan Goluboff Starring: Ezra Miller, Jesse McCartney, Zoe Kravitz, Griffin Newman, Edward Gelbinovich, Stefanie Y. Hong, Amy Sedaris, Campbell Scott, James Urbaniak It’s characters like Gonzo Gilman that make you wonder if you accomplished anything that great in high school. Yes, good grades and a slew of extracurricular activities get you into college, but what about the things that make a difference and make a lasting impact? High school administrators are lucky Beware The Gonzo is only a movie, otherwise there’s a good chance the education system would come crumbling down. Eddie ‘Gonzo’ Gilman (Ezra Miller) is certainly not the popular kid at Parker Prep School. Not only [...]...

Eddie .Gonzo. Gilman (Ezra Miller) has a mission: uncover the dirt and grime going on behind the scenes of the prep school he attends. After being muscled out by stereotypical jock/popular guy/asshole Gavin Riley (Jesse McCartney), he and his group of nebbish friends go into underground publishing. Soon, the Gonzo Files becomes a massive success, delivering hard-hitting reporting with splashes of gossip that the unpopular and ignored feel empowered by. As Gonzo.s movement begins to grow, however, so do the opposing forces that are trying to take him down. It.s impossible to start talking about Beware The Gonzo without first examining its protagonist. Think of him as a more focused Max Fischer from Rushmore: rather than investing all of his time in putting on school plays, starting bee-keepers clubs and getting rid of language programs, he is simply all journalism, all the time. But while the...

The house was packed at the first red-carpet premiere of Tff 2010 to take place at Bmcc Tribeca Performing Arts Center on Thursday night. Brian Goluboff's Beware the Gonzo has quickly become one of the most talked-about films at the Festival, due in part to its stellar teenage cast, which includes Ezra Miller, Zoe Kravitz, and Jesse McCartney. (The excellent Campbell Scott and the playing-against-type Amy Sedaris appear as the parents, and 30 Rock's Judah Friedlander is a cafeteria worker at the high school.) Before the film started, the audience was treated to a short from Lloyd Choi, one of the winners of the Mofilm Short Film Competition. And then the movie began. Gonzo is the story of an intrepid young high school reporter (Miller, who also starred in last year's Heineken Audience Award Winner, City Island, and can also be seen in this year's Every Day) whose nemesis (McCartney) has ...
