There is no denying that Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Natalie Portman’s Jane had an excellent love story in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While it had quite an unceremonious stage in Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder was able to bring it all to a beautiful end.

However, fictional love stories seem to be no match for the kind of romance Hemsworth shares with his wife in real life. There are plenty of examples of the actor going on about how much he loves Elsa Pataky. Be it in interviews or on his social media, they have become quite the standard for romance.
But there is no better example of how devoted the two are to each other than what Pataky did for Hemsworth when they found out that he could get Alzheimer’s disease in the future.

From his famously attractive looks to his surprisingly funny and lighthearted personality, and even his impressive acting career, he is the full package for most of his fans. Which is why many look up to his relationship with actress Elsa Pataky.
The pair have been madly in love with each other for over a decade, building a life together and breaking the hearts of both their fans simultaneously. For many, their love is the hallmark of what a healthy and happy relationship is supposed to look like.

With this in mind, many would be surprised to know that the actress was in a very serious and committed relationship with another high-profile celebrity before she got together with Hemsworth. So much so, that her former boyfriend even bought her a castle.

5 Things That Did Not Work for Jennifer Lopez’s Atlas(Photo Credit –IMDb)
A megastar, a big budget, a tried and tested genre – Netflix’s Atlas had all the right elements for a blockbuster, so how did the makers still miss it? One of the most anticipated streaming releases of the year, the film fell short of all expectations.
Ever since Atlas was released on Netflix, the film has been panned by critics. What was promised to be an action-packed visual spectacle, turned out to be a dud. So what did go wrong with the Jennifer Lopez movie? Among the many factors behind Atlas’ failure, these 5 things certainly did not work for the film.
1. Predictable Plot
From the trailer, it looked like Atlas would have something new to offer in the sci-fi genre; but instead, the film felt like a rehashed version of all the robots vs humanity movies we have watched before.

Chris Hemsworth explains why he enjoys Extraction 2's action more than Marvel's. Best known for his portrayal of Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Australian actor branched outside the franchise for Extraction in 2020, which was written and produced by the Russo brothers. At the time of its release, Extraction became Netflix's most-watched movie ever, so a sequel was quickly greenlit with Hemsworth returning as the lethal mercenary Tyler Rake. Though Extraction 2 follows a different black ops mission, it will maintain what made the first movie so beloved – exhilarating action sequences achieved through practical stuntwork.
During a recent interview with EW, Hemsworth opened up about Extraction 2's practical stuntwork, which he finds much more satisfying than the McU's action, which is created mostly through special effects during post-production. The actor enjoyed collaborating with all the different departments in order to shoot Extraction 2's stunts as practically as possible.

Australian independent crime thriller “The Stranger” written and directed by Thomas M. Wright, has become a surprise hit for Netflix.
With Joel Edgerton producing and starring, the film was acquired by the streamer at Cannes. Now playing online, it has reached #4 globally on Netflix and places in the top 10 in 54 countries.
The film is based on Kate Kyriacou’s book “The Sting: The Undercover Operation That Caught Daniel Morcombe’s Killer” and is a fictionalized account of the real-life hunt for the killer of a 13-year-oldboy who was abducted on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast in 2003 and later murdered. Brett Peter Cowan, who was finally caught in 2011, was found guilty of the murder following a trial in 2014.
Produced by See-Saw Films, Anonymous Content and Blue Tongue Films, the film takes a very different tack from the real events. It changes names, adds characters and refers only briefly to the actual crime,...

When the announcement came that “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” the third movie in Channing Tatum’s male stripper franchise, had the greenlight, it was revealed the film would premiere directly on HBO Max. A new month has arrived, which means a fresh batch of movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix. While many are no doubt still making their way through “Stranger Things” Season 4, June brings the arrival of a new season of another beloved Netflix series: “The Umbrella Academy.” The third season of the semi-superhero show premieres June 22 and finds the gang stranded in a timeline where the Umbrella Academy does not exist, while battling not only a rival team but also plenty of timeline-altering shenanigans.
In terms of new Netflix original films, June 17 sees the debut of “Spiderhead,” a psychological thriller starring Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett and directed by “Top Gun: Maverick” filmmaker Joseph Kosinski.

Any home viewing for “Top Gun: Maverick” (Paramount) could be as late as after Labor Day, but it’s already #6 at iTunes thanks to PVOD pre-buys. And at #5 on iTunes is the week’s top new PVOD release, “Last Seen Alive” (Vertical/19.99), which also had a single theatrical date this week. Another take on the “Taken” trope, Gerard Butler stars as a husband trying to find his estranged wife while battling local criminals.
Butler has been a theatrical draw, but what’s of note is unlike many VOD-centric action originals released by Vertical and others, this one found an elevated response at a PVOD price and with minimal marketing. It’s also #3 at Vudu, and it’s another example of the often-eccentric universe that creates the home-viewing charts.

A frantic real-time piece of pulp about one woman trying to avert nuclear missiles hitting the US is clunky yet committed
While the rather surprisingly robust box office performance of Top Gun: Maverick has shown, once again, that all really is back to normal on the big-screen blockbuster front, as a sort of precautionary measure, a more-stacked-than-usual summer season of streaming has also kicked off. There are shows with budgets the size of movies, from Stranger Things to Obi-Wan Kenobi to the upcoming She-Hulk and Ms Marvel, and films like The Gray Man, Prey, Secret Headquarters and Spiderhead, all slick enough to be major theatrical tentpoles. Before most of that, and on a far, far smaller scale, drops high-energy thriller Interceptor, landing with whatever the opposite of buzz is on Netflix, modelling itself as an irony-free throwback to summers past and just about succeeding.

It’s Elsa Pataky versus many nuclear missiles in “Interceptor,” a decent Netflix actioner that embraces its formula a little too much but effectively sells the “Fast Five” breakout star as the next action hero. Pataky stars in the movie as JJ, an ostracized Army captain (more on that in a bit) who is assigned to work in a control room on a secret base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, which is the last line of defense should any America-bound nuclear missiles come from overseas.

Netflix's latest action movie Interceptor is now available to deliver thrills and excitement to fans. Elsa Pataky stars as Captain Collins, a skilled soldier who becomes the only line of defense when a group of terrorists attacks a nuclear missile interceptor base in the hopes of launching an attack on the United States.
Interceptor does not reinvent the action movie, but it does share similarities with some other great titles in the genre. It also takes elements from some other fun movies to give it a fresher take. So if fans enjoyed the ride with Interceptor, there are some other movies they can check out next.
