Excellent Series 1; weak Series 2

S01: The script is witty, sharp and touching at times Ola and Hilma have an excellent chemistry and the acting is believable. The storyline - along with with the satirical commentary on IVF treatment in Sweden - is engaging. The stress and pain of the whole process is well explained and developed, sometimes drifting into scmaltzy Rom-Com territory, but it works anyway.

S02: it's clear that the script is different: perhaps Jerka Johansson was the driving force for both the storyline and the humour, because it goes a bit flat on both counts. Some of the story elements are predictable - the parents' involvement, for instance - and we find our attention drifting away. There isn't enough content to warrant ten episodes, albeit short ones. Shame...

Some good some bad

An overall good swedish series about the struggles of coming into your own and taking the next step both in the relationship and the adult world.

It can get predictable and it's not necessarily revolutionary in its writing either. However, If you watch it at a time in your life where you're about to, or have just gone through their struggles it can be both comforting and heartbreaking at points.

The dialogue feels stiff at times but i mostly found those parts to be comic relief, at times much needed comic relief.

It's one of the only series that I've watched that has made me feel like I need to throw up from just the emotions it forces upon the viewers. Often times these moments come not from the dialogue but the amazing acting talent of the two leads.

Its hard to put an accurate score to this series as I think it's either something that will fully strike with you or make you feel nothing at all, and I think that's ok. It's obvious that its made to be seen by couples having had their own ups and downs.

I expected to much

The dialogue is very constructed, the plot has no turning points but good actors and the series looks good. I expected much better.
