A game based on a movie based on a book. For a handheld console, no less. Usually a recipe for a disaster.
And yet at first it doesn't feel that way. The graphics are pretty pleasant and the soundtrack is nice. The game occasionally even references the book, which is a welcome surprise. The retelling of the plot is pretty coherent and there are no missing details. So, as a retelling of the movie, it's a great one. But as a game... Coraline for NDS is a point-and-click adventure, a very boring one at that. You barely get to interact with anything and most of your time will be spent going in circles across locations and talking with the very few characters the story has. Occasionally there are minigames, but they are short and mundane. The game has really nothing captivating to offer in terms of gameplay.
And as it turns out, this game is just like a beautiful candy wrapper with no candy inside. If you really want to reexperience the movie, then reading the book would be a much more pleasant and exciting experience.

One of the best animated films of our generation that I have seen. Apart from his universe, his atmosphere, his originality, his perfect blackness, his humor, his poetry and his charming characters. In fact, this cartoon is a real miracle, a real pearl, which struck me and captured me from the first minutes. Grace for starters has just outstanding directing and animation. This is the first thing that caught my eye, and I was immediately worried. The animation and style of the film are really huge: it is made very manually, sewn on a simply magnificent background. And a very dark, very mature universe, really sublime and very strange. And he made me think about the universe and Burton's style all at once. By the way, for reference, it was the director of "Mr. Jack's strange Christmas" who made this film, and it is clear that he perfectly owns what he does. So, voila, the animation is impressive and original, the universe and style are very dark, very inventive and poetic with a wonderful color scheme: finally, voila, just great. Then the following scenario: we are immersed and carried away from the beginning to the end. Thanks to this story and this universe, so peculiar, as well as filled with originality and ingenuity. With an exciting, mature and very dark story that immerses us in a universe where reality and dreams merge together. And we're going to follow Coraline: a fearless, inquisitive and imaginative little girl who lives in a not very rich family in a very dark universe. She dreams of another life in his image. But as soon as she tasted it and lost her real life, she regrets it. Because whenever we lose things, we realize that we love them. So, she will have to fight between two worlds and against an evil and terrifying wizard who must have scared her a lot. Also, the very black and mature atmosphere makes this movie quite creepy and so exceptional. So, voila, an exciting and fascinating story has perfect blackness, and is also filled with surprises, poetry and black humor. Not forgetting about the very cute characters, with a real soul and really interesting to follow. And finally, the music is great throughout, which makes the film so exceptional and very black. Voila, one of the most beautiful animated films I have ever seen, because it immediately transported me to an exceptional and unique universe. For me, this is a huge love, and I strongly recommend that you do it, otherwise you will miss a real miracle.

This is an amazing movie for children all though it depends on what your child can handle it is it scary it's about an other mother so it might be frightening I was 3 when I watched this as a kid I loved it but it is still thrilling it's an amazing animation probably my favourite of all time favourite childhood memory.
Coraline in nightmareland
Coraline is fanatic cartoon. Puppet animated film based on Neil Gaiman's children's story Coraline. The girl found herself in a parallel world through a secret door. An evil witch who fed on children's souls was waiting for her there. A talking cat and a magic stone helped the girl defeat the witch and save her parents.
+The film is the first full-length puppet film originally shot in 3D. The graphics are superb. Because of this, a mysterious impression is created that immerses you in a new world. The essence of the cartoon is that we often see the world the way we want to see it. But we should not live in illusions: we must act and achieve our goals to make our personal world better.
I highly recommend this cartoon. It is very atmospheric and is also perfect for watching at a Halloween party. Although the cartoon is ancient, it remains popular today.

- To be honest, the biggest disadvantage of this cartoon is that there is no second part
I highly recommend this cartoon. It is very atmospheric and is also perfect for watching at a Halloween party. Although the cartoon is ancient, it remains popular today.
